after many long months of not seeing any quality movies in theaters, i will be seeing both of these films and a film with ed norton and bruce willis about a detective with tourrettes syndrome who tries to solve the murder of his mentor. hell i may even see Rambo Last Blood too. haha.
i heard IT 2 is 2.5 hrs long. may try and watch it on my streaming device if i can get it versus going to the theater. many fans said it's not that scary. i find that hard to believe?
saw IT Chapter 2 last night. ugh. very long and very CGI. The main characters mumble too much and it was too much CGI and not enough plot. too much of not believing what was happening as real versus when it was real. not as good as part 1.
Yes it is. Looks like a Grindhouse faux trailer that QT and Robert Rodriguez was doing 10 years ago, but Run Bitch Run is a legit movie and it is good.
i haven't been to the movie theater for several months. I'm still very hurt over the loss of my cat Tux. im going to treat myself tomorrow night to a double-feature of Ad Astra, the Brad Pitt space film, and Rambo: Last Blood ! Get the popcorn and soda ready!
AD ASTRA - Spoiler really disappointing. great visual effects and CGI but the plot and story were boring, slow, long and drawn out. then they do all of that and the ending just sucked and was so flat. a huge letdown. had high hopes for this movie. typical sucky ending for me. Movie had the potential to be huge. huge story, huge acting etc. it was just flat. D- Brad Pitt. RAMBO: LAST BLOOD - Wow. This was far better than Ad Astra. Spoiler Never seen so many decapitations in one movie. Never seen so many different ways for a person to die by brutal means. They creators of the movie went above and beyond to bring a new element of pain and dying to the bad guys. Wow. People cheered in the theater over each new death. It was almost like a exploitation 70's film or a movie from Eli Roth. It was that crazy. I liked it a lot. Not as bad as I thought and better than some of the other Rambo movies. The kill factor and how he killed these guys was incredible and worth the price of admission. A++ Rambo.
the critics hate a lot of movies. i never agreed with any of the critics in the past 30 years. fuck siskel and ebert. 2 overblown clowns who somehow hated each other and how their own show. they would prefer a artsy house movie over an action movie. pu.
im not asking it to be gone with the wind. you know what it is before you walk in. if you don't like it, don't watch it.
Did you watch it? I was inside and thinking about going in and then something came up. I went to google the reviews and found that the movie critics were giving it a 1-2 stars but the viewers had it at a 4 or 5.
