Been there in '07 when they played the Canes in the playoffs.

 

I'm a leaf fan first, with the other teams I don't cheer for the uniform. If I see they have a roster that's easy to cheer for, and the leafs are out, yeah.

 

Buffalo is like Outer Mongolia to China; it's remote. But, it's right next door.

 

Two teams I would never cheer for, the sens and habs.

 

There are 29 other teams I will never cheer for as long as the Wings are in contention...




So... Im rooting for everyone and everybody, lol.

 

Although I did cheer for the habs in the 70s.

 

Uhmm. This begs the question: what is the one team you will root for even when the Wings are in contention? There are 31 in total.

 

I was thinking the same thing lol, 31 teams.

 

Last year it was the Canes, the year before was Vegas.

Its not like it used to be. All the actors have moved on. Colorado is actually a pretty decent team.

Rivalries just arnt the same anymore. The scheduling has played a part in that, I guess.

Off the top of my head, im trying to think of Detroits biggest, current rival and I don't think they even have one, lol.

 

I remember there were Wings fans back then that had their dogs trained to bark wildly at the mention of Patrick Roy or Claude Lemiuexs names.

 

Their last rivals were probably the Pens?
