On that weird pre snap formation on the 4th & 1. If your gonna do that then you have to go to hard count the instant the shift is completed. You have only a moment of confusion there to try capitalise on. The Bears shifted and then Trubisky took his time and then tried to draw them. Its not gonna work by then. There was even a LB with his hands on his hips who just knew they weren't gonna go for it. I don't mind them trying something unusual to draw the D offside there, but the execution was wrong. Nice make by the kicker.
I don't recall any penalties by the offensive line this half, now if they could complete a 10> pass I would be surprised. At some point, even a nonfranchise QB can complete one of those, can't they?
Eddie Jackson helmet in hand on sideline in 2nd half Left the game sometime near the end of the 2nd quarter Hope he’s okay
Offense looking way worse than last year. Interior OL unimpressive again, early signs are that the switch isn't working. Trubisky not looking good. Massive overthrow on the deepball to Monty. They had a great look earlier, on that PA when they caught the Broncs in a run blitz(keeping em honest pays whoulda thunkit), Gabriel wide open and Mitch just put a poor overthrow on it. Gotta make that throw. Did O'Donnell eat a can of spinach before that 80yard punt? Where the F did that come from??!
Meanwhile Lamar Jackson, the QB that supposedly can’t throw, has flung the ball all over the place in Baltimore.
