Dorsey... you know what to do.

(And before anyone says "Save it for an offensive lineman", here's your friendly reminder that Dorsey's first and second-round lineman selections include: Austin Corbett (33), Mitch Morse (49), and Eric Fisher (1).)

Darnold out! I hope that doesn't diminish the team's focus, because it will make the Jets more dangerous (wounded animal and all that, look what the Raiders did)

Gotta believe Williams wants to and knows how to exploit Baker's weaknesses, as well as those of many others, particularly on the D side.

This is a "vital" game for Cleveland, but then again it's a vital game for the Jets, and the added element of going against your last Head Coach, who after he turned your franchise around, was shown the door........ Lots of motivation

    Just sayin

Good news, gang! In addition to leading the NFL in disappointing openers, we're also the leader in the clubhouse (again) for apologies from the referees for screwed up calls!

Okay, so Sam Darnold is out with Mono, Leveon is banged up, they lost Quincy Enunwa for the season in week one, and they are evidently down 2 interior D-lineman for MNF....

I understand that Trevor Semien will be starting at QB, and although he has 25 starts under his belt, as well as a winning career record, he scares nobody. Those who remember the Cody Kessler era, probably remember me calling him "Captain Checkdown". And the guy I often compared him too, the original Capt C.D., was of course Trevor Semien....

I'm expecting a bigtime bounce back week for the Browns on offense and defense. Looking for Nick Chubb to have a huge game.

I'm just hoping Gregg hasn't changed, and plays his Safeties 40 yards from the line of scrimmage like he always does. Just let the Browns tear them up on the intermediate routes all night.

Maybe I'm being foolish, but I can see the Browns taking total command of this game, and winning comfortably...We'll find out what these guys are made of Monday night.

  10. I have an ache in my gut over this Jets game. My brother brought up the idea of Tennessee giving Williams more to add to his blueprint this week and the thought that Greggggg will have already circled this game thinking he should have been the head coach. I might need someone to convince me to back away from the ledge.

Well from the totally unprepared undisciplined embarrassing mess we saw in the opener did the Browns hire the wrong guy ? Williams teams last year was disciplined . These knuckleheads set penalty records and that was all .Now after running his mouth " shocking " Randal is all of a sudden out for the Jets game . Apathy quickly setting in with me .

These guys run there mouths and haven't done a fucking thing . STFU and play football !!

Some good news is Greggggg's teams here led the NFL in missed tackles and he stills plays his safties 40 yards off the LOS. Odell should have a field day.

God, I'm anxious about tonight's game.

I can't help worrying that the team thinks they're the far superior team, and from a roster standpoint that may be true, but football rewards the dog with the most fight in em. Do we have that edge?

If we don't it's going to be a long painful season, one that puts our coach on the wounded list, and opens the door to a lot of disharmony and finger pointing in the locker room.

I can't stop myself from fearing these things. Too much historical precedent for us getting a back up QB against us and making hero's out of them.

Somebody tell me to calm down, "we got this".

    We got this.

The Browns are the superior team. And that was before Quincy Enunwa, Sam Darnold, C.J. Mosley, and Quinnen Williams were scratched for this one. Again, a reminder that part of the Browns' awful showing in last Sunday's game was surrendering almost 200 yards in penalties and losing 3/5ths of their offensive line to injury/play out of position.

Despite all that, it was a two point game before an illegal (non-flagged) block sprung a 75-yard pass for a touchdown that opened the floodgates. The Titans racked up 28 unanswered points in the final 16 minutes of the game while Baker was trying to play "hero ball" and the offense as a whole was pressing - with the Titans able to dial up a heavy pass rush on a ridiculously depleted offensive line.

Could they lose this game? Sure... if Greg Robinson kicks someone in the head, they play undisciplined football, they cycle through a ton of offensive lineman, and then they fall down in the points and the head coach/play-caller doesn't calm his offense down and dial up some consecutive plus-plays (versus trying to pick up big chunks at a time).

Me personally... I don't think that happens (again).

Happy Game Day Fellow Lounge Houndz:rally:

Tonight I am looking for a more disciplined approach by EVERYONE! Last week was a complete embarrassment. This team needed a wake up call and hopefully they go it. :smack:

They also need to understand and accept that the media has in fact painted a Gigantic Bulls-eye on this team; with all the off season stuff about how good this team is "supposed" to be. Given the talent they now have at the skilled positions; every team they face this year is going to be gunning for them. The schedule is not easy by any means and there are NO GIMMES, that includes the supposedly "bad" teams.

Despite having all that talent in the skilled positions, I too am still concerned about how offensive:yuck: the offensive line played last week. If the five guys in the trenches can't get things done it wont matter if we have probowlers at QB and every WR, RB, and TE position. They wont score points and wont win games. Games are won or lost in the trenches and last week they got their collective asses handed to them:rake:

Defensively the D-line needs to improve still. Tennessee still had over 120-yds on the ground. The long screen pass to Henry was poorly defended despite the fact that they tackled the guy responsible for stopping it short.

Officiating is never going to be perfect and good-great teams overcome those deficiencies, so I'm not going to overly complain; that even at home the Browns can't catch a break. They just need to play better and dominate their opponents.

Hopefully they clean up the stupid mistakes from last week and play better ball all the way around. As well as a dominate victory tonight I'm looking for the Browns to come away from this game with as few injuries as possible.

P.S. Let's hope that the guys flapping their jaws this week about this and that back that shit up with superior play on the field. Otherwise...

If the NFC Championship game taught us anything (and yesterday reinforced it), it's that the referees can guarantee the best team doesn't win.
