lyman has his own team to worry about and that shellacking they just took at home. Santa Claus is the least of his concerns. he may be asking for a new QB for Christmas!
Ah, c'mon - just because he's a fan of one team doesn't mean he can't discuss - or bust the balls of - another team. My team has had more than its share of legal troubles throughout the years - doesn't mean I can't comment on Ray Rice or Tyreek Hill or Adrian Peterson or Josh Gordon.
Strange game last night. Weather delay's, camera men MIA because of bad weather while the crowd was there and then there was Cam vs Jameis. Cam said in a post-game interview that it was hard to look the defense in the eye after that offensive performance. Ironically, I found it difficult to look Cam in the eye after his offensive performance... wtf was he thinking?
More of a random question than a random opinion.... but is that Don Beebe's kid out there playing for the Vikings?
Huh. I guess it had to be tho right. Surname like that it would've been one hell of a coincidence. More of a random memory than a random opinion....but there was a Falcons - Bills game way back when. Don Beebe fields a kickoff, takes it straight up the middle and with a couple blocks he is gone. He goes by a rookie CB near midfield at full speed and it looks all over. However said rookie CB is the owner of major burners and from nearly a standing start reels Beebe all the way in and brings him down at the 5 yard line saving the TD. The CB was Prime. And that is my Don Beebe memory.
He was thinking if i dress like this people will not talk about how much the panthers suck with me at the helm.
Maybe payton made a deal with a cross roads demon to win the superbowl and now will face bad calls forever
My favorite Beebe memory is from a monday night game in 93. Beebe caught a pass on the sideline and a Steeler's safety named Gary Jones destroyed him. He held on to the ball but he still says it's tge hardest he's ever been hit.
My favorite Don Beebe memories (there's quite a few) all center around positive plays for the Bills. Go Bills! Oh, the lake on Cornell's campus is Beebe Lake. I've always liked Beebe Lake too.
Week 2 Thoughts - Buccaneers 20 - Panthers 14 Cam Newton is no longer an effective quarterback and the Panthers are in for a long season of losing winnable games. It would not be at all shocking to see them travel to Arizona and hand the Cardinals their first win of 2019. There's enough talent on the offense to get it done, but an inaccurate quarterback with questionable decision making (amplified by hesitancy) is going to see a lot of points left on the field. The Bucs may have scrounged up a win, but they can't feel like they are building confidence off of that performance. All of the markers for a team that needs to commit to a rebuild are evident in Tampa but a GM that is looking to salvage a first round pick, going as far as to hire a head coach for that specific purpose, points towards a ton of struggle for the team in pewter.
