Congrats to skinny, and to Joe, on your NBA Champions We the North!

I like that North pointing uni both for not being a cartoon, but also for its simplicity and for the color combo. This may be the first time I've written about basketball on L4S, and very likely my last too.

 

Kudos Skinny and Joe............a Championship for Toronto........enjoy it my Friends.

Dorian now a Category 5 storm

Hurricane Dorian now has maximum sustained winds of 160 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. This would put the storm in the highest category on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.

Dorian will be capable of catastrophic damage as it tracks towards the Bahamas today into tomorrow.

Daytona beach is a ghostown.

 

my brother went to college there in the early 80's bf it became a Spring Break mecca. It was called Embry Riddle. Some Airplane school.

 

I was at the daytona 500 by accident, I ended up going to the next town over Ormond Beach.

 

When I was a kid in the 70s, Daytona was our first stop on summer vacation. Drive to DB, Orlando then to Tampa to visit family friends. Now Volusia County is the shark-bite capital of the world.

 

I was in Orlando for about an hour on a stopover from a gruelling greyhound bus ride. Someone off the street tried selling me some weed in front of the station.

that's some old ass chicken ! i like Popeyes. Many KFC's share a space with Taco Bell. Something about that co-existence scares me.
