sorry but i think it was all part of a master plan to get him out of oakland and into ne. call it belichick or him. someone drew it up. oakland won't win now. NE is on the last legs of a SB or 3 run. AB is chasing the SB ring he never won in Pitt. He saw the writing on the wall and wanted out. Belichick saw a top WR and welcomed him aboard.

 

Eagles ugly first half. Second half came an ass whooping. Happy I played Desean Jackson today in fantasy. haha.

Tell you don’t like the raiders trade because they didn’t use a first rd pick.

 

Couple things:
1. Sad to see Foles go down. His TD pass was beautiful, Chiefs CB was in good position, just perfectly placed. He was finally getting going after a pretty bad opening drive. But the backup came in and only threw 2 incompletions I believe, one was a INT but still looked good. Got a few big plays, most of them were before the Chiefs went into prevent defense. Still don’t expect the Jags to withstand the injury to Foles for the season. Looks like Titans vs Texans for the division, possibly the Colts sneak a few wins and make a run as well, but safe bet is a two team race in the AFC South.

2. Disappointing start for the Browns. 13 points for what was billed as a top tier offense? Couple things went into this, like their top 2 LTs leaving the game before halftime (1 ejected and 1 injured) and penalties galore among those reasons for low outputs. I didn’t see much of the game, just a little chunk after the Titans had their 75 yard screen pass. Mayfield came in and threw his 2nd INT, and the Titans promptly scored again to continue the rout.

3. Dolphins are UGLY this season. No way can you play like that and then claim you’re not tanking. And as a Steelers fan I hated this game, just gave the Ravens a win and a huge boost of confidence. As a football fan I hated it because nobody should be deliberately trying to lose.

4. Very few teams are as good or bad as they look week 1. I fully expect the Browns offense to come to life, just like I fully expect the Ravens to take 3 games to match their 59 points they scored today. I don’t expect the Jaguars defense to look this bad all season long, and I don’t expect the Bills to pull out wins after turning the ball over 4 times. So if your team looked like crap today, don’t freak out too much, and if you’re team looked like champions don’t get cocky. Long season ahead. Good luck to all!

I didn’t like the idea of trading AB at the time because I didn’t want to give up 1300 yards and 10 TDS. However I changed my opinion on that even before the Buffalo trade was announced and recanted. By the time they did get a trade done with the Raiders, I was one of the few who understood no way a were the Steelers getting a 1st round pick and Colbert was going to take whatever he could get and ship him out of town. It all worked out for the Steelers, they turned that trade into Devin Bush, Dionte Johnson and Zack Gentry. Steelers got those three, Raiders got nothing but a $1 million bill. Yeah it sucks he made his way to the Patriots, but what do TO, Chad Johnson, Randy Moss and AB have in common? 0 Super Bowl rings. Hoping that trend continues

 

Yeah, that call was clearly bought off, no doubts about it. That was an incomplete pass for sure. Another year of pathetic officiating upcoming
