Thought we could have a thread for the rest of the NFL games we are watching before we finally get to kick off the Steelers season. I got the KC Chiefs vs Jags, first play of the Chiefs season was the shotgun toss counter the Steelers used against the Pats last year. Took 3 whole plays to score 7 on a medium dig route from Mahomes to Watkins. One missed tackle (defender went for a int that had no chance) and 50 yards later put the Chiefs up 7-0
Jags defense getting gashed. 3 big plays given up already. Jags Offense went 3 and out in Foles debut with his 3rd down throw out of bounds.
10-0 Chiefs over the Jags, Mahomes missed a wide open Kelce in the end zone on third down. Tried an unnecessary no look pass, Kelce was alone in the corner and the ball was about a foot over his head. A very Dobbs-like throw
Nice long TD pass from Foles to Sharpe. Perfect throw may have cost Foles who is holding his side now, but its 10-7 Chiefs
After an opening drive TD, been a rough game for the Browns. 10 penalties for 100+ yards, 1 ejection for LT Robinson, then his backup went down with a knee injury. Hubbard is playing LT right now, with OG McCray playing RT. Titans now lead 15-6, big play from AJ Brown for 51 yards to set up a 53 yard Santos FG.
Jacksonville's defense smack talking, while losing by the way, gave the Chiefs a first down on a taunting penalty after stopping the Chiefs on consecutive snaps inside the 5. Chiefs then walked into the end zone on the next play. 30-13 Chiefs leading.
Thankfully CBS switched from the KC/Jax game to the Cle/Tenn game. And just like that, Mariota to Walker for the TD. 29-13 Titans
