That’s what I meant if it wasn’t clear. Meant AB is already worse than TO, least TO gave you that year before imploding.
That’s what I meant if it wasn’t clear. Meant AB is already worse than TO, least TO gave you that year before imploding. And that just undermines the GM and empowers AB. Huge mistake, enjoy the fallout. Least the Raiders will entertaining Monday-Saturday to make up for the product on Sunday.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, the lawsuit has been dismissed with prejudice by the Louisiana Supreme Court, bringing to an end legal efforts to seek damages from the no-call that likely cost the New Orleans Saints a Super Bowl berth. Legal action over that outcome was always highly unlikely to succeed. Even the Saints urged the court to dismiss the suit, citing the fact that the NFL had addressed concerns by making pass interference calls reviewable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's good news. The last thing we need are lawyers calling the penalties.
This AB drama is continuing. Raiders took away his bonus guarantees and Brown says release me. Heard the players in Oakland are getting tired of the crap also. I know I am.
His RELEASE ME message just proved this. He still considers himself that kid witht he chip on his shoulder and got cocky off it.
Possibly, but he had to keep at least one door open so he could get moved. Doesn’t mean he actually wanted to be there.
I know what you mean. I still think he wanted to go to Oakland though. It might not have been on the top of his list but he probably loved thinking he'd be the messiah for the team going to Vegas.
You might be right, but I’m leaning towards him not really wanting to be there. I think he saw it as a chance to get out of PIT, get guaranteed money and play or practice when he wanted to until he could move on. He wouldn’t be the first high profile wide receiver to treat OAK like a truck stop while he’s on his way to another destination.
And A.B. did exactly what I expected him to do a few days ago and the Raiders bought it hook, line and sinker. He knew the Raiders have absolutely no chance of beating the Chiefs and Chargers in their division, so he basically forced his way out of Oakland. Some NFL team will be desperate enough to sign him now and he knows this as well. This was all an orchestrated line of events in order to get on a team that has a chance of a Super Bowl. What needs to happen is that the NFL teams tell him to fk off, but I expect at least 2 teams to come calling his agent this week and he will be playing by Week 3.
Anyone who thinks AB has "orchestrated" anything is out of their mind, and is giving him WAY too much credit. He ruined the skin on his feet through a foreign cryo treatment as part of the orchestration? Guys, what AB wanted then and now may have changed. Maybe it didn't. The dude is nuts. That's it.
30 mill is too much money for anyone to just blow off in some sort of complicated plan to manipulate his future employ. Maybe it's true but I doubt it. What's it called? Akums razor? Brown is just plain crazy. It's the simple answer.
