Here's my week 1 overreaction that's actually not an overreaction:

We're going to miss the playoffs. Guarantee it.

 

Trubisky could come out next week and throw 10 touchdowns and it won’t matter to me

He’s proven to me he isn’t ready to play when the moment calls for it most

I wouldn’t doubt it at all. We are losing to GB at home. And they aren’t that good. Our offense is just that bad.

As I said many times in 05, 06, 10... I just feel bad for the guys on defense. In all of those years those guys busted their asses and we're good enough to win a Super Bowl and had their opportunities wasted by shitty offenses and QBs.

 

Receiver should know to slam that 2nd leg down. It's not easy but you gotta try as a pro.

 

WOW and of all the failures tonight that has to be the worst!!!! YOU HAVE TO FUCKING SNAP THE BALL ASAP THERE. FUCKING TRUBS DOESNT HAVE A CLUE

 

I know. I was there with you saying the same. I have no idea why this team can’t find offense people.

 

That play, failing to get the snap off before the challenge, epitomizes the total failures of Trubs tonight. His awareness is fucking awful.

I've said it since the day he was drafted: I want Trubisky to succeed, but I have absolutely no faith that he's an NFL quarterback. Last year I routinely said that he was an average college QB - games like this show why that's all he is, and that's all he'll ever be. He does not have the mental capacity to be an NFL QB, full stop.

 

All QBs are allowed to have bad games

But this one was important
