Looking at the box score, it seems like Vedvik missed 2 FGs today. Hope angry Viking fans don't come after us! Granted one miss was from 59 yards.
Ok, color me SHOCKED that we managed to trade Eluemunor to the Patriots! Also, color me extremely confused as we still have no idea who our LG is.
Eric has his eyes on someone's OL when final cuts happen. Our starting LG will probably be Ben Powers in Week 1 as the new guy gets acclimated on the team.
The craziest thing is Eluemunor isn't even good enough to play on the Ravens, and we have no LG. How in the world did we get a pick for him? We also traded 2 LG so far this season without having a starter. I think Hurst will be the week 1 starter and Senat could be the backup tackle. Mekari or Powers could make a challenge as the season progresses.
I agree, but the magic that Eric is wielding netted us this trade for E. E and a 6th rounder for in return a 4th round selection. I would take that trade all day, every day. Nice one Eric
Ravens cutting Willie Henry. I saw this mentioned this morning but thought it had no chance of happening. This must be paving the way for Ricard to get more DL snaps.
Ricard has been the best DL so far in pre-season and is about to sign an extension so yeah he has solidified his position in the 53 for sure
I really don't understand Iman Marshall making the 53 man roster. They are obviously going to IR him, but would you really want to use one of your designated to returns on him down the line this season? He's just a rookie CB and not a vet after all.
Nabbing a 5th for Vedvik, was a major coup considering the Vikings just cut him in the final cuts. Marshall is a 4th round pick that the Ravens knew if they tried to slide him to the practice squad, that he would be poached, they are going to need him later on in the season if any more injuries start to hit, which as we all know, they surely will.
Oh I never envisioned Marshall going to the practice squad. It sounded like Marshall was simply too injured, so he seemed like a guy to hit normal IR and end his season. It's all moot now though. A bunch of Ravens cuts already have new homes. Vedvik was claimed by the Jets and the Dolphins grabbed Gerald Willis. So much for that experiment.
