He's really close with his dad, too close for him to stray off the right path.
He's been exposed to the big time his whole life, so nothing will have any major effect on his lifestyle.

Jays losing 19-4, I wonder if they bring in a roster player to pitch the 9th?

  3. skinny123 Guest

    No, Luke Maile.

No wait, he's a catcher and just got a KO..

Only jays fans stick to the last pitch of a 19-4 loss and give the catcher a standing O.

On this day 30 years ago, the first ever game was played in the skydome.

    June.5/1989

Also the Jays have drafted Roy Halladays son Braden in the 32nd round.

Vladdy jr breaks total hr record in the derby with 91 total. The previous record was set by Giancarlo Stanton with 61 in 2016.

Derby was awesome. Can't believe Vlady didn't make the final. He still is struggling with batting average. He will be a stud next year.

he's come on strong of late and really boosted his average.

  15. skinny123 Guest

He has boosted the average about 40 points, his power numbers have been steady since after the first six weeks.

as hyped as he is, alvarez and aquino have done better.

  17. skinny123 Guest

They're also 22 and 25 years old, aquino only has 29 rbis. A 20 year old is still early in his developmental stage and nowhere near an mlb roster, ROY? That's way over the top expectations.

Aquino was only called up a little while ago and i think it was last month. Guerrero has played longer. Soto is 22 and has done well too. Same for Acuna Jr.

Ok, so what was Soto or Acuna up to at 20? And let's see how Vladdys doing at 22, his first 150 ABs were a wash, big adjustment period.
I don't think he's hyped at all, he did better than I thought. Even the 91 hrs at the derby and the second guy wasn't close.

i think Soto is 20 now. Acuna is a stud at 22. I'm sure he was fine at 20.
