That's 6 assuming Mongo is definitely in, we'd need at least 3 more before we can guilt Ev into joining again. Time's running out, if no one else jumps in this week I say we forget it for 2019.

 

I have no leagues this year, but I have been half assing it anyway. Count me as an “if you need me” player.

No one knows how to reach 3rd gen otherwise? And I guess we really lost Aggie eh?

So that would make 8

 

We could get by with 8 although if we do I would recommend creating very deep rosters (i.e. forcing teams to start 2 QBs) otherwise it won't be as challenging.

 

I'm going out on a limb and say Mongo is thinking 8 is enough

It would be good get 3rd gen in the league if we can although it seems he's pretty pissed.

For those of us born after 1980 and missed an apparent 70s TV joke, it seems Mongo is fine with 8. How do the rest of you feel about that? September 5 is only 2 weeks away, we gotta sort it out soon.

 

I think 3rd gen would probably play and 3rd is probably reading this as he still has a presence here even if only in spirit.
He still loves the people here and no doubt I still think he would play I don't know about being commish.
So if we have 9 we would need one more for 10. What should we do?

 

Do you have to actually know anything about football and the team and the players to play this game? Like if the answers are all no, I could step in.

 

He's not pissed at us, and we aren't pissed at him at least I'm not. I think he would play and we could message through the game site any changes and whatnot.

 

Yes and no is the short answer. You need to put your best players in every week and it's not that you need to know the player just what that player can do on that particular week by looking at the stats, opponents, weather, etc there are many sites that can help you determine who to play over another if you have a question.

 

We do need an even number of players 12 or even 10 is ideal. 8 would be a challenge and would require us to get creative with the rules to make it competitive.

I know. My only worry is that he was so upset that he didn't even want to play fantasy altogether.

Who else besides Aggie played last year who we haven't yet heard from?
