It's training camp time bitches....where y'all at? Everyone should be stoked for this coming season. Saw this on twitter and thought it was good....
LOL people still talk about the bears on this board? Thought Baby just 'air bnb's' it to dipshits who don't talk football..... Also:
I guess when the biggest worry on your roster is the kicker....that's kinda a good thing. But also....it's really a bad thing.
Kickers that suck cost you games. The Steelers kicker lost three games for us last season after being an all pro last season
From everything I’ve read it was a good start. Up tempo crisp execution and a lively atmosphere. Let’s hope it keeps up. Seeing Miller and Burton our there right off the bat is probably the best news.
For what its worth, Eddy Piniero hit a 63 yarder and is 7-8 like Fry. Please don't be Barfey, just kick at Soldier Field to get acclimated. Agreed, but to be a debbie downer: Running out of excuses for Shaheen.....
Yeah, I had planned on going to camp this morning I printed out my ticket and everything, but I didn't get home until 4:00 this morning and that put a damper on all that, oh well. I plan on attending one of the other days this week, and it will probably be less crowded. These weekend camp dates have too many people and it's so hard to get a good vantage point to see anything.
I'm actually glad I was a bad bad boy last night. No way I dealing with all that. After reading the crowd turnout almost 9,000 on Saturday and just over 8,000 today I'm so glad I didn't go today as I planned. Anybody that's been there knows they may have seating for maybe around 2,000 and that might even be pushing it. Those attendance totals are pretty accurate because the last couple of years they require a ticket that has to be scanned. I'll get there this week at some point as I have nothing better to do and try to take some pics.
The board has been very quiet since last season ended but it's like that every year. I hope you're going to participate here like you always do Pat, you're a respected member of the Bears board. We need to get more members here too, it would give us more diversified discussions if we did.
Oh man, that would be so cool. I would love to see some pictures of Soldier Field and the team!!! Shoot, I have to get to Chicago. Why is it so hard for me to get there?
They're not in Soldier field but a small college campus (Olivet Nazarene University) southwest of Chicago.
Hey @BearsWillWin what does LFG mean? I'm going to guess.........."Long Field Goal"......which ain't going to happen without a Bears Kicker ???.......lol
Great that TC is finally here. The season inches closer. Im liking the early things ive heard/seen about the D. They seem sharp, aggressive, going for the ball a lot. All good. How things go under Pagano is gonna be massively important. His quotes after he was hired about keeping things the same were meant to comfort of course, but all i could think of was the same lines coming from Tucker The Fucker once upon a time. So its great to see them starting out with the attitude they have. It will remain to be seen how Pagano fares with calls during a game. I haven't seen much talk about the Daniels/Whitehair switch yet, anyone got any info on this. I liked the decision, and if it works(which i think it can), then you've got a potentially a pretty dominant O-Line and then that Offense is truly open for business! Go Roy Robertson Harris.
I'm planning on going to camp tomorrow, I see what I can see, but I'm going out tonight sooo... that combination didn't work so well for me this weekend.
