I'm going to be 100% honest with you, Catfish - the moment you posted a link to Breitbart, I stopped reading. It proved my point entirely. Stop getting your information from places like Breitbart. It's not good information - it's propaganda.
Edit: I went back to read the rest of your post, because you deserve to be heard. Show me where you criticized and called a fool Jason Kelce, Rob Gronkowski, Alex Ovechkin... all literally off the top of my head, and nowhere near the beginning of it. You're just lying, Catfish. Wow. I know im late to the party but that was some debate. The generational divide in a nutshell folks. Pretty surprising to see some of the things you came out with there dline. Absolutism and super-woke melodrama is not your usual style.
It's not, usually, but this was a particularly frustrating exchange (taken in the context of a busy workday, nonetheless). Catfish was calling out comparatively innocuous behavior on the part of women, while excusing / not commenting on similar or worse male behavior in as comparable situations as possible. On top of that, he definitively referenced on multiple occasions far-right sources that provided, at best, highly slanted information, and often purposefully inacurrate information. So, I called a spade a spade. Sexism: check. Biased viewpoint with no self-awareness or willingness to self-evaluate: check. I may have handled the conversation better - again, not the best of contexts for me - but I stand by my points, based on my memory of the conversation.

you called me a liar and said i was wrong. it wasn't sexist at all. im calling a spade a spade and calling them out like so many others did. their former teammate said their celebrations up 13-0 were wrong. others chimed into ESPN too about it. nothing to do with sex or where i got the source. they were wrong and acted like assholes. they acted like assholes. the videos alone were damning enough without commentary from the any source. the video was everywhere. then you brought up gronk and ovi, who had nothing to do with the conversation. to me Jason Kelce was speaking the truth about Howie Roseman and no one expected or respected the EAGLES once Wentz went down, so his speech was more than accurate and fair. and i remembered after this conversation the Eagles Malcolm Jenkins and his nonsense with not saluting the flag-guess what my stance was the same on him as it was on Megan Rapinoe. So again, this has nothing to do with their gender or where I got it from. I thought and still think Jenkins and Rapinoe are wrong on their not saluting the flag and standing for the national anthem. I still think the goalie acted like a drunken asshole! show me another athlete acting like the goalie and i will call them out. this has nothing to do with her being a woman. you're so far off on that. and this has nothing to do with any source. that's how i feel and that's what you missed. you try to label me as some left wing nut that only follows propaganda sources without following the truth! that's wrong. and i hated rapinoe for 2 yrs now. not because she is gay. not because she's a woman. because she took a knee during the national anthem! i don't need any fucking source to show my dislike of her. her antics this WC only made me hate her more.
