Elias Pettersson is almost certain to win the Calder. The last Nuck to win it, P. Bure, turned out to be pretty good.

But - and this is a real question - who would you rather have on your team: Elias Pettersson or Rasmus Dahlin?

For a team as useless offensively as they are and were last year, I'd have Pettersson and worry about defence later.

Then again Buffalo has been worse on D and about equal on O. They definitely needed more D. Buffalo better turn it around. They looked ahead of schedule at the break but now they look like they could be taking a step back.

This is a tough one, how do you not pick a SC goalie? Another Ken Dryden performance, I would settle for a tie, also Dhalin in the picture.

i just dont remember Bure using a Cooper. Pretty sure Bauer bought cooper so he switched to a Bauer stick his rookie year. I think anyway.

You are correct Matty........Bure won the Calder in 91-92 season and used a Cooper to start then went to a Bauer......same stick different company.

When in Russia he played with an Easton stick......(80's)......and also when he ended his career with the Rangers he used a Easton. Pavel_Bure_0.jpg

No No No Skinny.......the votes are all in BEFORE the Stanley Cup playoff's even start......Binnington did play well down the stretch and propelled St Louis into the playoff's...........BUT EP-40 should win Calder tonight........Fingers Crossed.

Funny story. Cooper hockey helmets found their way into hurling out of all sports in the 60s and now they market leader in it.

If that's the case then EP should get it.

Petterson should win the Calder. I dont think playoff performance is supposed to count in this.

Id rather have Dahlin. D like that are the most rare commodity and while Petterson is a star in the making, he's gonna take his lumps and i'll bet he misses serious game time because of his slight frame.

That would ruin the game. Forget how the puck goes in. Imagine that you can't clear the zone anymore! A defender just grabs it deeper and controls or dumps it back into the corner. Power plays and penalty kills? Wow.
