This - ... - is my way of contemplating the best way to back out of the room without anyone noticing, lol.
Too late Lyman .... MUWAHAHAHAHAH!!! Is he already gone? This always happens when I get my comedic timing right. Or wrong. Ugh.
Hello, Tim... Just an FYI and a suggestion. I noticed there is no 'site icon' on the home page in the tab. It makes for a cool bookmark if it were to have the l4sn icon on it. When I save the 'forums' page to the start page on MS Windows 10, the l4sn logo is there, but if you bookmark or save the home page there is no icon. No biggie, tho… lol.
Weird, I have it on my tabs and it is set to view. Try doing a hard refresh the next time you are viewing the home page or try taking off the bookmark and setting it again.
I still just get this ---> Im going to try a different browser... i'll get back with you... might just be an MS Edge thing.
Tim, are the amount of posts being deleted? i had over 32,000 posts. now i have 31,996 ? are they being removed to free up space to post ?? just curious ?
Im not Tim, but if someone else deletes a thread they created, all the data is erased, which will effect your post count totals.
Unless you deleted them or someone that started a thread you posted on did, no posts have been removed.
There has to be a thread that you participated in that the thread creator deleted or else a moderator with editing privileges had to have deleted posts. Nothing was ever brought to my attention so I can't say if either was the case. I have a policy of not removing any content here unless absolutely necessary because it creates a record of opinions to look back on and review. Mainly, it's for my own, when it comes to the NFL draft and fantasy football. It also creates a record to review in case there are any issues that require moderation. We put in a lot of work prior to changing forum software to make sure that everything that had ever been posted on the site prior to making the change would be saved and remain available to everyone. Trying to keep everything ever posted here available is something that we do that very few forums can claim.
I don't know what to tell you, Cat. I haven't deleted any threads on this forum for at least 4 months, and that one was deleted by request of the author and only had 2 posts on it, both his.
I did not delete anything, nor would I... I leave that up to, Tim. Last time I deleted a thread was one I created a few years ago. The post's and likes I received were gone with it also, but that was a few years ago, I think in the hockey section. I personally havnt noticed any threads go missing, lol. These days if a thread is not to my liking, I simply ignore it and it slips away into oblivion on its own.
