Ok, he's a trash individual, but if you loved the Slick Rick storytelling, you should listen to some of Budden's mixtape songs. "3 sides to a story" is from 06, but it's deep. "Pray for me" is him expressing his feelings on religion while having a conversation with god. He even exposes relationship issues with his "ordinary love" chapters (there's 5).

He's probably my favorite post 2000 rapper because most of his non commercial music is personal

Uggghhhhh. The number one thing I will always dislike about Master P is that he brought us Silk the Shocker. I can't think of one time I heard Silk and thought "he made this song great".
