80's classic Mr. Mom. In the movie it has 3 references to other 3 classic movies. One of them is done twice and two different ways. what are the other movies referenced in Mr. Mom ?

What is the name of the tuna company that Carolyn thinks of the idea for their tv ad ?

What is the famous soap opera Jack and Joan watch and call each other about ??

wow U Dog, that's the hardest part of the questions. well done. the 1 movie reference is easy. well 2 are easy.

The soap opera was The Young and the Restless

All I can come up with for other movie refernces is the vacuum cleaner being called Jaws and the Rocky theme playing when he starts whipping the house and himself back into shape

Correct. And in the kids bedroom is a poster of Rocky III. The other movie reference is when they dress up for Halloween, Annette is ET.

What is the name of the bank that is robbed during the opening sequence of Superman III?

  7. Catfish Guest

    Century Savings Bank.

Superman III is a bad movie. Richard Pryor schlepping for a paycheck. Best part of the movie is when he's bad Superman drinking and the little kid says he can still hear him and he's just in a slump.

All the Superman movies are comically terrible except for Gene Hackman

  9. Catfish Guest

I like the first one. That was solid. Part 2 was decent. 3 and4 were God awful. I can't Hackman did part 4. Shameful.

Ok new one -- in Stalag 17 where did Price claim he was from - what US city ?

  11. Catfish Guest

really? this was a key part of the movie when he tries to say he's from Cleveland, Ohio and Sefton asks what time was Pearl Harbor bombed. Price says "6 o'clock, he was having dinner." that was a mistake as it was 6 pm in Germany and lunchtime in Cleveland. that's what the barracks believe Sefton that Price is the traitor ! Damn NAZI'S !

in the movie Silver Linings Playbook - Robert Deniro is a diehard fan of what professional sports team ? He was Oscar nominated for the role. I think he got robbed that year of an Oscar and I'm not a big Deniro fan and not real happy with his politics and outbursts.

correct. he plays the South Philly Father loving the Eagles to perfection. I lived in South Philly, just blocks from the Vet and his portrayal was accurate of the crazy football loving Dad. I'm sure many Dads are like this around the country loving their teams.

in what Al Pacino movie does this happen in the beginning of the movie --- people are invited to a convention where the NY Yankees are supposed to appear. In reality, only the NYPD was there bc everyone on the invited list was a criminal with warrants out for their arrests.
