I was a huge Boston Celtics fan during the Havlicek years, probably still name the starting 5 from back then. The Larry Bird era was nice too, love the matchups with the 'Bad Boys' in Detroit also with the Lakers. Anyway, point being... as a kid I had a hoop in my front yard, played all the time and loved that era of the NBA thanks to Johnny Havlicek… RIP. AS for now... the NBA is a freekin joke and a circus that I havnt watched since Bill Laimbeer would fight with the Bulls, lol.
He was one of two correct answers to my go-to Browns trivia question: Who where the two Hall of Famers drafted by the Browns who never played a single down for them?
Ken Kercheval, J.R. Archrival Cliff Barnes on 'Dallas,' Dies at 83 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/n...-archrival-cliff-barnes-dallas-was-83-1163963
At least he wasn't the one that (I don't think it can really be called a spoiler after 39 years) shot J.R.
some girl did it, didn't she ? i was shocked to read a list of the worst finales ever and Dallas ended in 1991. i thought it ended in the early 80's and JR was poor and lost everything and was going to commit suicide and Bobby walks in and a gun goes off and Bobby was screaming ? From the reboot, JR didn't shoot himself, so what the hell happened? How did he lose everything ?
no need for that shot Lyman when i haven't said anything negative about the Browns ! If JR Ewing was a Browns fan, he would've died long before 1991! he would've probably owned the team and moved them to a warmer climate ! haha.
whatever. you didn't take a shot at someone else's team ? you solely took a shot at mine. and if i reverse it and did it to your precious Browns, you would be up in arms.
Dallas had a good run 78 to 91, I thought the same thing that it was a 70s show. I think it's because their best shows were between '78, right up to the show where JR gets shot. The ratings were down during the 80s, but they still had enough of a solid fanbase to keep the show alive.
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/celebs-remember-director-john-singleton-225548157.html John Singleton was taken off life support after a stroke. Only 51 yrs old. First black director to be Oscar Nominated for Boyz N the Hood. He's also the youngest Best Director nominee ever ! As much as Boyz N the Hood was a great movie, I hate Higher Learning and almost everyone in it. Bad writing, bad acting and so cliche out the ass !
