Jamie Gillan, P, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, AKA, THE SCOTTISH HAMMER, AKA THE BEST NICKNAME IN FOOTBALL.

This kid has a great story. Born in England, raised in Scotland, moved to the States and didn't play football till his JR yr (I believe). Only made it to Arkansas Pine-Bluff (an HBCU BTW) from a facebook post saying they needed a kicker. He didn't even know what or where Arkansas was (cant fault him).

He's shown some amazing leg in highlights, but lacks consistency by looking at his numbers. Can K in an emergency, and handle KO duties. Also can lower the boom if need be. I don't see him beating out Colquit, but perhaps seeing what he has and stashing him as a replacement.

Also brought in a LS and another K for tryout. Probably doesn't mean much, but they're leaving no stones unturned.

 

Too funny! Where do you come up with this stuff? Almost makes ya wonder if that was the intention.

247 Sports published a 2020 Mock draft. Really, they did!

At pick 1-26, they have the Browns selecting Walker Little, OT - Stanford.

For what it's worth, they have the Bengals picking 3rd, the Ravens picking 15th and the Steelers picking 16th. (They also have the Chiefs picking 32nd. Don't quite see that given recent happenings in Kansas City.)

 

I'm not sure if that's the same one I read this morning or not. But the mock I saw had Chase Young/Ohio State going #1 overall. They just re-load in Columbus. That's impressive.

I can't help but laugh...I am sure Stopper is somewhere trying to figure out a way to bypass @Tim 's security in order to get another name to come on the Browns boards to talk Dorian up. If you haven't heard, he was Stopper's protégé.

Something's off here. Current roster size is a max of 90. There are 92 players on that ^^^^^ depth chart. I suspect at least two of the UDFA's shown were players invited to a mini camp tryout but are not officially an UDFA.

Not that it matters all that much at this point, but our "grades" for the national media don't look too bad...

We all know the real test is how does this draft look in a few years....
