Been doing this draft thing since 2010, and while i am no where near on the ball on this draft as i have been in previous years, i can safely say that all draft picks carry risk but interior line man and inside backers are fairly easy to evaluate and then project, just look back at where similar positions were picked in the past- keuchley and mosely both went in the teens, so 10 is not crazy, this is a sound pick, a fundamental one if you will. If he starts for a decade what would you think?

Pumpkin, 3.66 and 3.83 are the 3rd rounders that I am aware of. What is the third?

The Steelers have 3 6th round picks (at this point in time) in this year's draft.

 

I just think we gave up a lot.

If he is just a decent and not pro bowl calibre starter for 10 years then I will always be wondering what the 3 picks we gave up would have done.

On the other hand this position is key to a defense such as ours.

However, still feels to me like a team that has started doubting it's ability to evaluate talent and traded away good value position picks for a supposed can't misser.
