So they gave up 3.32 and will get 3.35 for Bell. Solid!

 

Swap of this year's 1st round picks, plus we gave them this year's 2nd round, and next year's 3rd.

 

A first and second this season plus a third next season.

 

That is no where near what i thought they wouldhave to pay to go up 10 spots, a rather safe pick based upon projections and how easy it is to evaluate interior lineback, kinda sucks for us ravens to say all this but that seems like a good safe pick that could be amazing if he really steps up at the next level- worst case you got a starting legit linebacker for a decade and didnt have to spend too much

I am going to have to ask you to stop reading my mind over there. There is some seriously interesting talent at WR this draft. Especially inside the top 60 odd picks.

I am also looking at that kid out of Boston college of the ravens, i dont necessarily want a sexy draft pick.

Oliver to the bills could be a huge pick, no clue why he slid so far.

 

Only downside to giving up 52 is I really wanted Deebo - not that he would have definitely been there but I think he'sat least in the conversation. Now I want Boykins in the 3rd. Would settle for Emanuel Hall.

People are talking about reaches a lot so far on a few sites, and i dont see it the same. I have contended for years that draft boards need to only be around 75 people total, and that might be high. Every year guys get drafted that end up being system players or something, and nothing of real substance, i think people are picking positions that are hard to fuck up (interior positions), less sexy but fundemental. Sure lindstrom could have been there later and could have been there all the way to the start of the 2nd in other drafts but who doesnt see him starting at guard day 1? isnt that the point of this draft...pick a damn starter and hope he has the maturity and talent to be more than just a starter.

Feels like a reach to me to fill a position of extreme need - you know, the very thing these bs artists (like Colbert, etc.) say they won't ever do.

What happened to BPA - is Bush really going to be that much quantifiably better than a first and second round BPA pick combined as well as a third rounder next year?
