NO, NO, NO, JUST NO!!!!!!! Running is not a sport and I don't care who wants to argue the point. I will not listen. Running is simply a means of escape when being chased by large carnivorous animals (John Candy in The Great Outdoors), zombies (too numerous examples to cite), or large balls in temples that hold golden idols (Indiana Jones). And if you're going to bring up Chariots of Fire, I hate that phuquing movie and there were no damn chariots or gladiators in it.
I was thinking about this one.... Takashi Toshiro. His performance in the tricycle race at the Greek Games at Adams College is legendary. Now....he was definitely using PEDs though....so do we hold that against him?
well it was a counter agent against alcohol. it didn't enhance his ability to pedal faster. the best is when Ogre shakes his head in disapproval of the nerds after the race. im die laughing every time i see that scene. hahahaha
as this thread is dead, im still going to say Youngblood, Hobbs and Chitwood were the greatest fictional athletes in a movie beyond 1 game. haha.
And....this one just came to me..... Michael Jordan in Space Jam. Playing himself but playing himself in a fictional world where cartoons are real and is therefore a fictional character himself. So yeah....Michael Jordan. Simultaneously the greatest real and also greatest fictional athlete the world has ever seen. Beat that. I dare you.
i don't give a wolf's ass what you think. he would be ineligible. why was he allowed to play ? because the dragons had a 28 yr old on the team - Mick, so they couldn't say anything. haha.
So teenage wolf's can't play on the sports team in high schools? Bet you want them to use separate bathrooms too, right? What about water fountains? Bigot.
i can't believe a proud Chicago sports fan would even dare associate Michael Jordan with Space Jam. SJ was a pure Warner Brothers scheme to make money. I think they somehow brainwashed Jordan to be in it. hahahahhaa. i think he used the money he got to pay off his massive gambling debts. hahahahhaa
listen Jungle Book, a real High School in NJ made a wrestler cut his hair for being too long for competition, so they cut it right there on the floor before his match. true story. if this happened, what the hell would they do with Scott Howard ?
