I think this is sort of a trick question because Anne Ramsey played Helen Haley in the movie....but Julie Croteau was her double for the action scenes. Croteau was a professional baseball player and lost a lawsuit to play on the boys baseball team in high school.
I totally misread that question...I thought it meant the character...and I I mediately thought of Marla, her dad asks for a tryout and I think he mentions she's been playing on boys teams her whole life.
bww is probably right. got a good one--in the movie Casino, what is the tv show Sam "Ace" Rothstein goes on and is the star of ?
bingo - there u go ! golden popcorn to you. Casino is a very good movie. A typical over the top Scorcese movie. I think Pesci is better as Nicky then he was in Goodfellas, where he won an Oscar. Sharon Stone is just awful in the movie. She is annoying and couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. I was happy she died in the movie.
Sorry, got side-tracked. Answer I was looking for was Lori Petty (but, in truth, I didn't know about Julie Croteau),
Putting teams of gangsters in various locations around your turf to either attack other rival gangsters or defend your turf in the event of an all out war.
And more specifically....when the mob goes to war they tend to hole up in hideouts together....and have to get a bunch of mattresses for all their soldiers to sleep on.
this is a tough one - in the movie Grumpy Old Men, Walter Matthau has a favorite ice fishing rod/pole. What is the name he gave it and what happened to it ?
THE GREEN HORNET. When Matthau turns his back a fish bites on the bait and pulls the rod through the hole in the ice.
