I think MIRACLE would be in my top 5....Kurt Russell was exceptional as coach Herb Brooks, and I thought they did a nice job of bringing back the feel of 1980. One of my favorite sports movies.... I'd have to add my two favorite football movies.... NORTH DALLAS 40, THE LONGEST YARD (original)
Hoosiers Rocky Remember the Titans The Natural North Dallas 40 The Longest Yard Miracle on Ice Any Given Sunday
Best sports movie? I'd probably have to do a Top 5 and even that's hard... Major League Caddyshack Pride of the Yankees The Wrestler - this should count as a sports movie, yeah? Rudy
White Men Can't Jump Hoop Dreams Bang the Drum Slowly Rocky A League of Their Own Are also all great movies
Best sports movie is Remember the Titans. It's got everything you could want. End of story. There are a lot of good ones, but that's the best.
I don't know how many we want to seed? They keep popping into my head..lol! Don't forget Longest Yard....and probably should have RAGING BULL on there Some of these wouldn't have a shot at best sports movies of all time, but I also liked SLAPSHOT....DAYS OF THUNDER...KINGPIN......RUDY....ROCKY II....HEAVEN CAN WAIT I'll stop....Movies are very high on the list of things I enjoy most.
Hoosiers Rocky Remember the Titans The Natural North Dallas 40 The Longest Yard Miracle on Ice Any Given Sunday Major League Caddyshack Pride of the Yankees The Wrestler Rudy Slapshot Days of Thunder Kingpin Rocky II Heaven Can Wait Bull Durham
What about this classic... lol! I'm sure it'll be on next week somewhere, and I'll wind up watching it....
Hoosiers Rocky Remember the Titans The Natural North Dallas 40 The Longest Yard Miracle on Ice Any Given Sunday Major League Caddyshack Pride of the Yankees The Wrestler Rudy Slapshot Days of Thunder Kingpin Rocky II Heaven Can Wait Bull Durham Tin Cup Draft Day
"that's Johnny Miller man!" "I don't give a flying fuck who it is!" love Tin Cup except for the ending and the bad acting of Rene Russo! She's terrible at the end. And she says she took all the classes to be certified as a psychologist? Not quite. to be a Doctor trained Psychologist or Psychiatrist you have to go to Medical School like regular Medical Students and specialize and do residency in those fields. You can't just take classes for it. Haha.
I actually just saw this movie for the first time not too long ago, but RAGING BULL is a good one... I edited in on an earlier post, but it might have been missed.

how about *61 the HBO movie about Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris' chase for Babe Ruth's famed single season HR record. A great movie and performances by Barry Pepper as Maris and Thomas Jane as Mantle.
