2019 Ben is not the same as Big Ben imo. I would love for him to prove me wrong though.

I think he will. Ben is slow and stupid but eventually must learn how to be a leader. I think he sees the window closing and engages in a more team friendly demeanor.

    I hope.

LAOJoe and RTTRUTH's 10th Annual Collaborative Mock Draft would love to have a knowledgeable Steelers fan making GM decisions for the black and gold.
Participation is actually quite easy. It begins Tuesday April 9th.

Any of you interested in participating? They are a ton of fun for anyone who follows the draft, which it appears quite a few of you do. Who wants to call the shots? You obviously could make it a collaborative effort within the Steelers pages, since so many of you follow the goings on. Hit me on PM if you're interested.

I think losing AB could make Ben better. He won’t be forcing the ball into good double/triple coverage to feed AB’s ego.

Something positive from the Steelers offseason. He has come a long way

I love the fact that Tom Brady tweeted his best wishes. I'm sure Ryan's Steeler teammates will follow suit.

AB trashing JuJu for "fumbling season away" now on twitter. Quickly losing respect of most everyone in the league.

I am an equal opportunity realist about them both. However, AB is not even close to being as important as a Big Ben, nor will he ever be.

After all that has transpired, does anyone still think the Steelers should have held onto him for a better deal? At this point they'd be lucky to get the Mr. Irrelevant pick. Hopefully by this time next season we finally won't be reading about Brown and Bell daily. Unfortunately this story will stretch over the course of this season.

No doubt about it, the AB apologists are nowhere to be found.

Mendenhall is now accusing Ben of being racist. Same guy who questioned how people could celebrate the death of Bin Laden because the people celebrating likely had never heard Bin Laden speak. So tired of people who go to the race card and use it as a weapon to try and destroy somebody without any proof.

Ben's taken a whole lot of criticism but has stayed quite.

Ramon Foster has publicly asked that all previous players who feel they have a complaint against a current player contact him or Pouncey rather than going to the media with their complaint. He offered to get them the number of the guy they have a complaint against. Basically says it may be good for the complainers social media clicks but it's no good for the current team or teammates of the guys in the locker room being talked about.

Antonio Brown is a terrible guy to be supporting. Mendenhall claiming Ben is racist and Brown couldn't take it anymore....ok...so why did Brown feel the need to turn his attacks to JuJu? Was JuJu also racist?

Anybody lining up behind Antonio Brown has no credibility at this point.

I'm sure the Steelers would love to get White or Bush but I doubt they'll trade away much to get them. I could see them staying where they are and using the extra picks they have to jump back in the back end of the first round or early second round to get a player they really like.

Thats what Mendenhall said about 3 hours after calling Ben racist...That was a jacka$$ move. You want to support Brown? If you can't do it without a blatant lie that could destroy a person, especially someone with Ben's history, than you are either wrong or just plain ignorant. Brown has done all of this to himself, nobody else is dragging this crap out to the public besides him.

Ben has said some stupid stuff on his radio show but nothing racist. I think the thing that put AB over the edge was when Ben accused him of running the wrong route on the play Ben threw the atrocious INT against Denver to end the game. There is no way that that INT was anyone’s but Ben’s fault. Not making excuses for AB because there isn’t one for his stupidity. Just saying Ben needs to stop the public criticisms of his teammates.

We have had some crazies come through Heinz, yes? Ramone Foster’s response was awesome.

He also partially blamed Pouncey (for blocking his guy to far back) but Pouncey didn't get his undies in a bunch over it. I agree Brown should have been pissed when Ben threw him under the bus on that play but to go off the cliff like he did is insane. Im sure this is not where the JuJu jealousy started but it didnt help that while throwing Brown under the bus Ben said he should have thrown to JuJu 4 straight times. That was of course not the back breaker (that didnt happen until the team MVP vote) but it added weight to the camels back.

Jumping on a box, while impressive for someone with his injury, is a long ways from playing professional football again. Just watching how his body moves makes me hope he never plays football again. I just can’t see him not suffering another injury in the same location.

First thoughts: That 3 week stretch Browns, Bengals, Browns sucks. Both Browns games are after Hunt comes back. If I were Tech, I'd be screaming conspiracy :foil: Add in that the away game is on Thursday Night, after a tough game against former NFC Champs might cause a raised eyebrow...Start of the season is pretty rough, Pats, Seahawks, west coast trip to SF is a tough 3 games. Bengals are kind of an enigma that everyone has counted out, but they could surprise people. Ravens are tough, doesn't matter who they lost, and they end the first half of the season with another west coast trip to battle the Chargers. 12-4 is a possibility, don't see worse than 9-7.

I think the reason both browns games are later in the season is because the NFL thinks they are relevant again. How many times when they knew or suspected that it would come down to the Steelers and Ravens did we see the Ravens twice late in the season?

  20. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

You're probably right. It was mostly just a joke, but on the serious side how often did both games come in the 2nd half of the season? I remember one for sure, the rest I feel was the first game around mid-season and the second game was around within the final 3 weeks.
