These are two different awards Lym. The one he actually won, Rimington-Pace, is given to the Big Ten Lineman of the year, from any position, not necessarily a center. In fact he won it with his play at guard in 2018. The outstanding center award IS the Rimington Trophy, which he was put on the watch list after his play at center in 2016, but he was moved to left tackle in 2017 to make way for their All-American center Tyler BadAss, I mean Biadasz. Then he was moved to left guard in 2018.

Walter Camp has his name on a few different things as well. In this case, it was the Walter Camp Foundation that helps name the All-American team, not to be confused with the Walter Camp Award for outstanding College football player.

That's the problem with College, there are so many awards floating around..and foundations with the same/similar names that give them out, it is easy to get confused.

He's an outstanding offensive lineman, no doubt. But, I wouldn't necessarily count on him to be able to play center in the NFL.

Andre Dillard, not in the top 60 overall players? I gotta say the math on him seems to be off a bit...He's a first rounder all day. Probably top 10.

Again, the math that Lyman speaks of was from all the website big boards that some were the first drafts. They have all been updated since then, but those first drafts didn't have any lineman highly ranked, let alone Dillard. He started skyrocketing up draft boards, but not in the beginning.

He said that was a screenshot of the big board he used in the GMO draft....That's extremely low on Dillard is all I'm saying, and I agreed with much of those rankings. Just way off on him....

Jeffrey Simmons started out a top 5 prospect. Then he blew out his knee. You don't leave him in the top 5, right?

Why didn't DIllard move up? Especially after he crushed the Combine?

That's YOUR opinion, TD and you are welcome to it. But I'm not so old and senile that I can't calculate the average of three numbers. Furthermore, if Dillard's average ended up at 61, that means, at that point in time, one site had him ranked lower and another site had him ranked higher.

Just for shits and giggles, I went back this morning and looked at those three sites again and his average today was 22. So I ask you . . . if he was top 10, how is it you were able to draft him for the Panthers at 1-16?

I only posted that depth chart and screenshot to try and stimulate some conversation about pick 2-17. Turns out the only conversation it stimulated was you talking about how great your mock draft was and bitching about Dillard's ranking. I will not make mistake again.

I don't wtf your problem is Lyman...You are unbelievable. WTH is up your ass these days????

You have Dillard at #61....That's low second round. Way lower than anywhere else I've ever seen him ranked...

Didn't realize I wasn't aloud to question it. How am I bitching about it? ...God damn. My mistake. Piss off grumpy old fart!

You take offense to every fucking thing I say...

The only reason I even brought my draft over here was because this is the Browns rookie draft thread..

You guys can have the fucking Browns boards to yourselves....I've never been in the little "cliche" anyway....

    ENJOY.

Oh, and I posted it because my draft kicked the fucking shit out of your yawnfest draft......

Two different drafts that had two totally different sets of parameters leading up to the draft. Because of the GMO free agency prior to the draft, I didn't have to draft players that had to start, only fill a backup role and develop into starters down the road. Do you really want to compare depth charts after the GMO versus after the "official" L4SN mock draft?

No. lol! call it a parting shot...I'm tired of always being on the defensive with you. I seriously don't know how you conclude that I'm "bitching" about Dillard's ranking. You totally remind me of my father, whom I've never seen eye to eye with either...Maybe it's just me. But I know I don't need the aggravation. You say you wanted to stir discussion about my draft? What discussion? I either agree with you, or I'm wrong.

The only feedback I've gotten from you on my draft is, "Where's the Center?". lol! (stay tuned on that btw) Though, I will say, that's more than I've got from Irish. I think he's still mad at me for defending Dorsey. lol! Idk...Don't care. Evidently the only player I took that any Browns fans like was Darrell Henderson. Crex liked that one...I posted every pick here, complete with highlights. It is what it is....A great draft, by an unpopular dawg. lol!

You just seem to have this mentality that you are older, so therefore you are right, and nobody should dare question anything, and I think it's ridiculous....

Yeah, Lyman. Don't you know that the only thing you're not supposed to question is Ohio sports teams and their decision making?

I'm not picking sides, here. There are just moments of irony in this conversation that are wonderfully entertaining. Cheers, all. Here's to the offseason ending, so we can just get next season started...

    I'm digging this draft, TD...

Admittedly, this is the furthest away from the draft I've been in years (no QB horse in the race). I would love to add a linebacker like Mack Wilson, but I'm starting to get the sense that maybe Genard Avery is the guy to fill in at SAM? I dunno... great tackler and good rush end in packages, but left a lot to be desired in the coverage department.

Some of the value here (Bobby Evans - no brainer) is great!
