He managed to survive the course and not make mistakes when others did. He had 4 bogeys but not at key times like the others did. He grinded all day long and grinded out key shots and key birdies. His history and knowledge of the course helped him today. As a Tiger fan, this is a day fans thought we would NEVER SEE AGAIN. It will go down as one of the biggest sports stories in this Century and maybe top 5 ever. Incredible to see.

Did you see the look in his eye as he was going round? From like the 7th hole onwards it was on. Haven't seen that for a long time. He absolutely took Molinari apart mentally. It felt very matchplay actually.

My buddy i was watching it with had money on Koepka to win, i was like no chance, only one guy's winning this, shoulda put the money on to place. Speaking of bets, another buddy of mine who likes to plant his flag proclaimed 10years ago Tiger would never win another major. I took the bet just to annoy him. Texted him lasted night, all he replied was fuck you ha.

Anway, hell of a story, hell of a win. And make no mistake, if he'd needed a 4 on the last he would've got that too. It wasn't going any other way.

It was a ton of fun to watch from Friday on.

I tried to temper my expectations while watching Saturday so I wouldn't get too down if he couldn't pull it out Sunday. Sunday I made sure I was parked in front of the TV from the beginning....and what a ride that was. He looked like old Tiger.....completely dialed in and focused but yet you could see he was cool and calm at the same time.

Molinari completely shit the bed and some of that was the pressure of playing alongside El Tigre. Once guys started making mistakes late in the 2nd nine while Tiger maintained his cool...that's when you knew it was on.

I was pacing the floor the last 6 holes. Just incredible.

That was one of my fav moments from yesterday. Not the actual shot but after he'd finishing talking to it and the ball stopped. He didn't yell and scream, didn't wave to the crowd nothing. Just went and stood next to his caddy and glared, chewing gum. There was no one else there. It was boss as fuck.

Did you guys see the Butch Harmon quote? He was saying how for years this generation of top pros, guys like Speith, McIlroy, Dustin Johnson etc, have been publicly lamenting the fact they never got to go up against Tiger in his prime. Well careful what you wish for.

    Heh, nicely put.

That was really good. If Tiger could maintain this level of play for any period of time....they're all fucked.

    Tiger is the motherfucking GOAT.

great stuff EB! On 18, I think his second shot hit a tree because it didn't go that far. He could've used a 2 iron and hit a low bump and run very close to the green if he had too just to make sure he got his 4 or 5 at worst. 17 was a tough miss. Molinari was stone cold dialed in until the 12th. Brutal mistake that cost him the Masters. He had it, he was in control of his own destiny and blew it. As for your horse Koepka...for a guy who hit major wrist surgery and didn't do much 2 years ago, the guy is just rock solid and will easily pass Spieth and Rory in Major maybe even this year. He's very smart on the course. The rest of the field had it and fell to the pressures of Augusta. You can't make a mistake on the back 9 on a Sunday. Cantlay and Schauffle did. Chalk it up to experience too of Tiger having played some 24 times there and those two guys less than 3 each.

all great events but look at the total history. multiple knee and back surgeries. he couldn't get out of bed 2 yrs ago, let alone play golf again, let alone win again. they said these young guys would kill Tiger on the course and he's too old to compete with these younger and stronger golfers. he lost sponsors due his transgressions and once the surgeries came, they said he would never win again. He won the Tour Championship last year and now the Masters again. He proved everyone wrong. Huge story.

Sunday was just a throwback to those days that Tiger walked on the course on Sunday wearing the red shirt and everyone else crapped their pants because they knew he was gonna own it.

Tiger on Sunday, when he was in his prime, was Michael Jordan in the 4th quarter. Just get out of his way because nothing is stopping him. That was the Tiger we saw yesterday and I hope we see him some more moving forward.

I don't know what the top 5 moments in sports would actually be...

Miracle on Ice certainly has to be there.

    Frazier/Ali?

Michael Jordan's last shot as a Bull in the Finals.

    Phelps 8 gold medals.

And the Cubs recording the final out of the 2016 WS.

Too many moments to actually narrow down a top 5.
