In my case it's an interesting question of whether I'd rather have Hardman or Wren. I chose Hardman. Very loosely connected follow up question... If I had taken C Mich cornerback Sean Bunting at #45 overall (2-13), how bad of a reach would that have been?
Yeah, if I was real competitive or real sure I wanted to grab him I wouldn't mention him by name in a PM. For the back story, I PM'd TD that the Colts were very close to selecting Nauta instead of Maxx Crosby a minute ago. I've read some very positive things about Nauta as a teammate and competitor. I like his tape. But his combine numbers were a bit of a concern. Also, the Colts have not actually interviewed him, despite a few with other TE's...so I'm not convinced he's on their radar. Ultimately I went elsewhere and grabbed Crosby.
Depends who you ask. I believe Tim is very high on him. I think a couple others might be also. I'm less sold. I probably would have considered it a substantial reach. But teams value CB's quite differently. Even in the real draft, there's two or three head scratchers in the top 100 for me every year. But let's be honest, we all love when other teams "reach". It leaves the studs for us later
Both of them were on my prospect list for round 5. Tavai got in a bar fight just before his senior season, so teams might have character concerns about him. But I took him at 5-34 in the GMO mock anyway.
Happens all the time. I made a comment about it during the GMO, and I feel like someone sort of questioned whether I was accurate or not. But every year, from mock-to-mock, whether we do 2, 3, or 4, there's always probably 10-20 guys who go much earlier or much later.
So "former" (important here) Wizards player Devin Robinson and Jalen Mills were at a party in DC last night and after the party there was an altercation between them. It apparently started with Robinson telling Mills he shouldn't be in DC since he doesn't play for a Washington team. It ended with Robinson in the hospital.
