I had a quick look at trades in our mock and it looks like he is right but maybe your source was wrong or you posted the Pat's on a brainfart.
Brainfart is possible. You said Wikipedia was the most trustworthy and I think I just trusted that source.
Now him I like. He’ll need some development time, but that dude oozes natural athleticism and stands out on tape
If Saunders wasn't there I was probably going to take him for Dallas but I have Saunders much higher.
IMO, He stands out on tape in the same way that Jonathan Abram does. You only have to watch them play for about 5 minutes, and you know without question, how much they love football. It just shows..Really high motors....Some guys just play with more intensity. You gotta love it to play that way...
One of the things I watch, is how the players body language is on the field. Are they into it 100% or not? Some guys, just get by on physical ability, and then you have the guys that are the true dogs. You can tell a big difference when you are watching a dog, or watching an player that only cares about the money.
Good catch UD. I honestly don't know what I did there. Could have been a brain-fart. Likely won't be the last
Goes back to my hate for Ahkello Witherspoon. Not a "dog". Never seen a guy avoid tackling like that. I had a bit of the same frustration watching Corey Coleman at Baylor. Might have been part scheme/coaching issue, but you could watch multiple games, and you'd never see him block for his RB.
I was wracking my brain trying to remember whether I had picked it up in one of my earlier trades lol
To add to this, part of the reason I'm often lower on guys like Witherspoon than some, is I imagine the goal of drafting is to build "a beast", like the legion of boom right?? Isn't that the goal? And if you fill your D with guys who are more preoccupied with staying safe than guarding for that "every inch" that matters, will you ever build a beast? I think not.
