Honestly I was sort of thinking the same thing for the Giants if he was on the board at 95. On to the next BPA.
So Leonard Fournette got arrested for driving with a suspended license which was suspended because his lazy and/or proud ass wouldn't pay a speeding ticket from November. If that isn't a character issue...
5 or 6 different guys I like there for LAR. I pick again with them in 5 picks. Might trade up with later picks with them again. They are very aggressive moving around in the draft. If anyone remembers my interesting tidbit from the GMO, last year they were 1 of only two teams who used every draft pick that was acquired from elsewhere. Not one pick was an original
lol! Not that surprising. I bet the other team was Joe.....You guys are trade hounds. Always trying to manipulate the board. it's what drafthounds do. Hell, that's what makes these mocks enjoyable. Identifying targets and figuring out how to make it happen.
LoL. Not what I meant TD. In real life, the Rams (actually to correct myself) in 2018 draft were THE ONLY team in the entire NFL not to use a single one of their own selections. Every pick they made, all 11, were acquired via trade. Which means not one pick they had naturally, stayed with them, without either moving them up or down the board. I've already failed at that. And don't include me in the "trade hounds" category. I'm not as bad as Joe. Joe and Munoz win that one, hands down. I often find that even when I would like to trade back, no one comes calling
Next two picks are Xinik and myself. Redskins are 3-for-3 on offense so far. Should I go D yet?? Or keep helping Keenum and Daniel Jones??
Not to nitpick, or pick a fight. But...repping 4 teams...8 picks I've made were right where I found them. Only 2 are picks I acquired. Does that meet trade hound status?? In fairness I did offer 1 more up, but no one came calling. Also, if I weren't stuck at work for 75% of my picks, I might trade a bit more. At work it's easier just to have 2-3 names in mind, and decide when the pick comes up or take the only guy left on that board when I get OTC. It's hard to find time at work to finagle trades. My record so far in this draft for "running up to the podium" goes to the Redskins at 2(14) who took Daniel Jones. I had that pegged from pick 1(1) as the way that would go down.
Relax RT...It's all good. lol! Maybe I was thinkin of somebody else.. (note to self: RT does not like the term "tradehound")
For the record my reaction is just synthetic. I don't care if I'm a trade hound. In the real world if I could be a GM I'd like to probably land close to 50-50 on my picks being traded. I would probably move both up and down in most drafts. I've said before I would make it my goal to always trade back at least once, landing me a future pick between the 1st-4th if possible. Kind of like guaranteeing yourself a decent comp pick. Extra chances to hit on a pick are extra chances to hit on a pick. I like the intentionality of it.
