    I’m nothing if not consistent...:point:

Well I’m a bit disappointed I didn’t land him in either draft. I feel like Risner might be one of the safer top 40 picks. I think his floor is as a high end Right Tackle. And I believe he’s good enough to become a good to very good starting Left tackle

Just trying to figure out if I’m trading 2.4 or not before I decide what I’m doing with 2.3. Should only be 10 more minutes or so

He was the other guy on my board I thought was worth jumping up for RT. After going "safer" with Ferrell at 17 I went a little risky with Simmons to basically fix the Giants complete and utter lack of push up front. But if I wasn't feeling like gambling last night Risner would have been the guy. I think this dude can step in and play 4 of the 5 line positions at a high level. I just don't think he can be a guy you feel good about at LT though.

This might be a little early but the 49ers select kelvin harmon wr nc state

Only time will tell. This is right about where he’s ranked with many sources.
And right about where Joe took him last draft

It's a good spot for him, IMO.

    WR #2 on my board.

A nice safe pick (Risner), followed by a fairly risky one (Harmon). At least that’s my opinion. He’s strong enough to play in the league. It’s just his movement skills. They aren’t a certainty to help him succeed.

  12. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Where a guy should get picked is a subjective number. The only thing that's objective is where he actually gets picked.

He's the odd exception where his game is based more on physicality and his limitations in movement actually may be part of why he developed the better aspects of his game at a high level.

He uses his body to shield the ball from the defender better than any receiver in this class (possibly the best since Thomas) and his catch style plays into that method. His process on most of his contested catches is so repetitive that it has to be mostly muscle memory. He creates a space to line up his frame, catches with his hands and immediately reels it into his body. Then you see him make the highlight catch with his hands away from his frame and he plucks the ball with ease.

Can’t disagree with any of that.
My one concern then becomes does that elite trait alone make him capable of becoming a true #1, once NFL defenses have “the book” on your plan? If he’s a complementary piece I think he can help a good offense become great. And of course it will help his chances if he lands with a QB who can precisely hit deep outs as well as back shoulder throws, so defenders can’t just play for the jump ball. He’s no doubt worth a 2nd round pick. I just don’t think he’s your guy if this is a “safe” draft year.
