Well this is a perfect fit, so no need to hold it up... CAROLINA PANTHERS select ANDRE DILLARD, OT - WASHINGTON STATE
Vikings standing by... not in a rush, just sayin. I cant wait to get sniped again, for the 17th time, lol.
I got pulled into a surprise multi-hour meeting -- fun times! Let me take a look at the board and see what's doing.
You guys are making this easy for me today... The New York Giants select Clelin Ferrell The Giants walk out of R1 with two highly productive character guys from major programs with experience in big time situations. Ferrell doesn't have the ceiling of a guy like Burns but I think he will give you very solid 2 way line play for a long time and he is about as pro ready as a guy can be.
Well, I jinxed myself as I was sitting on Ferrell. So, because of that, my backup to a back up to a back up is... The Minnesota Vikings select; Oshane Ximines; Edge - Old Dominion, 6'3" 253lb.
I really hope this doesn't happen...But it wouldn't surprise me at all. Then as a Wolverine/Steeler, I guess I'd have no choice but to consider him the ultimate enemy. lol!
If White falls like in this draft then Bush should be there...if White goes top 5 then there is some worry
Not sure if this will seem shocking to some. I really like Devin White. But... at the same time no way do I think he should be a top 7 pick in this draft. He’s pretty good. But I don’t see a game changer. Which to me is required for a top 7 pick. Imagine White and Kuechly in same draft. You’d take Luke Kuechly right? I would. And Kuechly made it to 9th. And this is supposedly a really strong defensive draft. So I just can’t get behind White before at least Denver.
Also, I’d need to study it further if my job were on the line. But I might even like Bush ahead of White. The one obvious trait that I think favors Bush clearly is in zone coverage. I thought Bush showed an innate ability to float with the receivers behind him. In today’s “pass-first” cliche league, you can’t overlook those things, IMO anyways.
Bush has sat at the top of my LB rankings going back to before the combine. He's only a couple points above White, but I'm with you on Bush being ranked ahead of him.
