Trying to take solace in the fact that he only pitched twice in ST and pitched well...hopefully he just wasn't quite ready for the season yet. But the drop in velocity is concerning.
I didn't know that, that would be concerning. Fulmer (Tigers) dropped a couple MPH and they shut him down to work on his delivery mechanics. Sometimes a couple MPH can make all the difference to. I hope he's ok... looking forward to Dombrowski's boy's to top the Yankees who are going to hit like nobodies business this year. (good luck)
he dropped to the 4th rd in my league. i forgot all about him. if he comes back, a 4th rd pick for him is a steal.

my league goes to the 7th. not real happy about it. im out of adds, i have 2 open roster spots i can't do anything about and my 1 closer is out for 4 months now. im doomed this opening week. ugh.
I had yahoo dump an entire fantasy team's roster and never received a response to my email. I had yahoo freeze an entire league so that no owner or co-commissioner could make any line-up or roster changes for the first 3 weeks of the season. I never received a response to my email. I had yahoo completely change the draft order for a league at the moment the draft started. Not a day before, not a minute before, at the very moment the draft screen opened. I never received a response to my email. I once had a chair leg break off in the middle of a Yahoo draft for fantasy football causing me to fly backwards and spill my beer. This is the short list of some of the things that have been wrong with leagues I have been involved with on their site. In short - Fuck Yahoo.
been using yahoo for years Tim, never had 1 problem. the draft is set 15 min beforehand. never heard of the draft changing 1 min before draft. was it their issue or a settings issue? no idea on the other issues. maybe it doesn't like you ? HAHAH>
Started using Yahoo around 2000. At one point in time a family member and myself ran or played in at least 10 leagues a year. There wasn't a single season without an issue. Not one. I joined a league a year or two ago just to help out some members here that were looking to fill out a league. It was the first time I had been on Yahoo in years. Wouldn't you know it, 4 or 5 weeks in I put in waiver claims and had only one processed while several others were still available and it simply didn't process them. It was the last league I participated in, or ever will, when it comes to Yahoo. Before I started using FF for the leagues here I emailed them with some questions. It was less than 24 hours when I got my response, in detail, and they even asked me some questions about what exactly I was looking for. Kind of a nice touch. Considering all of the times I had emailed Yahoo about issues where they didn't respond for days at a time, if at all, that pretty much summed it up for me. It wasn't a minute beforehand. It wasn't one second before hand. The draft was open, the draft started, the order changed when the pick went on the clock.
fair enough. i still think it's a rare case as i've been using it for 2 sports and multiple teams in for each sport in the same year and never had an issue.
