Looking forward to 2019, Browns NFL Rookie Draft

I agree. QB driven league. In the case with Oakland, I just think Haskins can ultimately lead the team further than Derek Carr could....

Honestly, I've never been sold on Carr as a franchise guy. I don't have the same doubts about Haskins at all....

I remember some nimrod compared him to Brady Quinn...

I wasn't a fan of Rosen either, for the reasons you mentioned that, and why ARI may be ready to move on. I do remember those debates as well. There were others who thought he was the "top QB" coming out last year.

Agreed that Rosen should have had a year to learn the position, Bradford was slated to be the starter early in the season. Which as we know didn't last long. Arizona's O-line was garbage last year, combined with a new HC that was in over his head and an OC that was canned early in the season.

I agree that Rosen has a lot of room to grow. I also think that with solid O-line play he can be a serviceable starter. Poor kid got "Couched" a bit last year with that swiss cheese of an o-line.

I don't disagree that if a team has a chance to improve a position that they should. Now I will admit I've not done much, if any, scouting of this years crop of QB's(the Browns have one FINALLY).

I'm just not sold that Murray or Haskins is that much of an upgrade, at this point. I will agree that Haskins is the better pro option, with Murray being the more athletic of the two. I guess we'll see how it shakes out in a month.

I can understand the being unsure of Murray, but I base most of that on the conflicting personality reports I've heard about him...

The more I hear from Dwayne Haskins, just the engaging personality and wit he has, the more I like him as bigtime NFL prospect...If I was a player, no doubt I would lay it on the line for that guy. He's real. No phoniness or anything. He doesn't try to be anybody else. He's just a natural leader that is extremely comfortable in his own skin.....He's like Baker Mayfield in that way. Dwayne is going to be great. Mark my words on that one.:point:

Though I don't expect Haskins to ascend as fast as Baker for obvious reasons. He just doesn't have near the experience....He'll get there though, and I may be under estimating him. When he does, look out...

EDIT: Plus Baker is a freak...I've never seen any rookie take control of a franchise the way he did.

    Bruh...

So where's Rosen going? I've seen it reported (read: rumored) New England and New York (Giants) are in the mix but the best offer right now is from Los Angeles (Chargers).

    ^^^^^
Also, big energy move by Jalen Hurts to transfer to Oklahoma and basically set himself up to be the #1 overall pick in the 2020 Draft.

And also with that... let the bidding for Dwayne Haskins' services begin.

As has been my past practice leading up to free agency and the draft, I normally put together a depth chart that can (hopefully) highlight areas where some additions would help the overall roster.

Just thought I would share it with you guys this year.

Wow that's impressive if you did all that yourself. And very resourceful if you stole it.

I can assure you its home made. Complete with some typos I saw after I posted it.

I didn't know we have Kyle Kalis on the roster...I liked him coming out of Michigan. When he was prepping for his draft, he moved to Columbus area and trained with a few Buckeye hopefuls.

He was just signed towards the end of March.

I think he (Kalis) was signed the same day as Kendall Lamm. (It was during the GMO.)
