He hated the dime linebacker role he was playing for Pittsburgh. Wants to get back to being a full-time strong safety. Also probably thinks Ben's a dick.

You know, for years I thought I couldn't wait for Roethlisberger to retire... now I kinda hope he goes full Favre and sticks around well into the 2020's.

Finally caught up reading through this thread, had to comment on this.

In a passing league, I'm not sure how much of a loss these players are. Don't get me wrong, as of now it's a loss overall without question, but how big is the question.

Weddle was cut and his position upgraded, so long ad Thomas stays healthy. I don't think anyone could really dispute this.

Suggs is a loss. He's older and definitely slowing down, but still a loss.

Z.Smith was a situational, back up, pass rusher. I can't fathom that Tim Williams can't take his snaps. We'll see if he can match the performance.

Mosley was a loss in the run game, but it's been noted by pretty much everyone that he's bad in coverage. In a passing league. Sure he can catch passes that come to him in a zone, but if you ask him to follow any TE or RB you've already lost that matchup. Kenny Young has displayed much better coverage skills. The question is can he show that in full time action.

Are the Ravens still an elite defense? We'll find out, but I don't know if I'd rush my expectance of them falling out the top 10 or anything. The offseason is still young. The 2013 Ravens defense was supposed to be worse than the 2012 unit after losing Lewis, Reed, Pollard, and Kruger yet they ranked higher (12th) than the 2012 unit (17th)

    Pass Interference.
This is going to be a disaster. Coaches are going to use it to get time outs, stop the opposition from continuing momentum, and generally the game will slow to a crawl, particularly during the final two minutes.

We'll all be holding our breath on every pass play, was it ruled clean or not, much like we already do when a contested pass is incomplete, but now we'll have the added component of what if a coach throws a red flag for a player not involved, questioning whether he was interfered with.

    Not a fan. Your thoughts?

What about goal line pass plays with constant contact on every reciever?
What play couldn't be stopped for "holding"? Is PI any different?

If I'm an official, I'm looking for clarification, or my job just became a total nightmare, and I'm thinking I may not escape some stadiums in one piece.

What a mess this is going to create. I don't see how this can work.

Well for one, they still only get 2 challenges and second, replays in the final two minutes of either half still have to come from upstairs.

With all the unemployable incel neckbeards in that fanbase (or at least the one's I've been exposed to here), you would think they'd have knocked this one out of the park.

2 minutes left in the poll... we can call this one for the Browns fans.

Is it me or do they seem to rep the color rush jersey as much as possible?

I have to assume most (all) saw the Twitter feud between current and former Steeler's wide receivers?

All I have to say is: I'm all for it.

84 is/was a JAG, will have a horrendous season in Oakland, and the Pittsburgh wide receiver machine will continue to churn out fantastic production with Smith-Schuster as the starter and probably some sixth-round pick who puts up close to 1,000 yards.
