Seems like I have a higher opinion of the TB blueline, especially come playoff time. Hedman or McDonagh will essentially always be on the ice and Tampa will have the last change at home. This really did a number on the Broonz last playoff. (Obviously) Im pulling for the good guys but the key will be Krejci and co. finding the back of the net, pretty much just what you said. Bergeron line will have to keep plugging away and be a matchup that TB will have to worry about or the B's are cooked. After game 1 last season Brayden Point did a hell of a job shutting down Bergy. Can't have that again.
Of course this is a hypothetical matchup and the 1st round series against the Leafs will be a great series. Id put it something near a coin flip for either side.

saw 2 didn't reports this weekend, but i don't know if they are credible or not, that McDavid wants out of Edmonton. he could bring back at least 4-6 players, prospect and draft picks in a trade. wow. the haul for him could be bigger than the Gretzky one from LA in 1988.

the one thing the Bruins have is the experience factor and past success in this matchup. the tide will turn though and when it does its gonna be hard to keep up with Toronto.

Toronto still gives up too much in shots and goals. They can be explosive offensively, but their chasing the puck in their own zone too much. In my opinion, a team like Boston can check them like crazy and just pepper the goalies. Whether its Anderson or Sparks, Toronto is in trouble. At least that's the way they have been playing recently... giving up a dump truck full of goals and winning hasn't come easy. Bab's has to find a way to get the forwards back-checking better if Toronto has a chance against a team like the Bruins. I mean no offense to you, Skinny, its just how I personally gauge these two systems, but what the hell do I know. :)

They're missing Gardiner and Dermott and don't have the depth to make up for it. It's not only the D, the forwards are playing out of position in the D-zone.
Somethings up lately with babbs and his screwy line changes, freddie looks like he needs a bit of a break.
They have to tighten up, tampa will crush them if they play like that. I could see some 5-4 games against the Bs though.

Not well, lol. Bolts clobber the Dogs and win Presidents Trophy... Stammer with the all-time Lightning goal record. Pretty impressive team.

They're one of the strongest teams in a long while. If they don't win the cup this year, they'll never do it again.

I guess he can thank Gretzky for his Coaching duties at Zona.

Not sure if gretzky had any input.

flyers look hapless in losing 3-1. arena half-filled as the season is almost over for them. a valiant effort, but they started their push way too late. ah next year. i think the coach is decent so far. the big "if" is on fletcher this summer with all that available cap money and big promises to spend. ???
