sorry guess I should've posted the Clayborn move here... Pats cut DE Adrian Clayborn, 3.9375M savings
The Cleveland Browns have released: Anthony Zettle, DE Cap # = $720,000 Dead money = $0 Cap Savings = $720,000
No, I just finally got some time to put into this....Question: @Lyman - Is it too late to put tenders on RFA's?
I was late doing that with the Saints last year because the original GM dropped out. If I recall, @Tim told me if no one had yet bid on them to go ahead and designate them. This year? That's gotta be Tim's call.
@Tim ^^^ EDIT: It's no big deal. I thought one of my guys was a RFA, but he isn't...I don't need rules bent.
Raiders release DT Justin Ellis Save $2,500,000 Dead $2,250,000 and TE Lee Smith Save $1,883,331 Dead $733,335
TD, On Over the Cap, I see Justin Ellis has a cap number of $4,750,000 with Dead Money of $4,500,000. That equates to a saving of $250,000.
Tim said this and I think this is whats causing some discrempencies… as a standard throughout we should all be using OverTheCap.com for this exercise, I think.
I read into it, and it’s my vote (but Tim gets final say) that we give TD a break on this one. The difference between sites is because on the third day of this league year his 2019 salary became guaranteed, hence the reported extra dead cap. If we assume he was cut before that date, TD reported the correct numbers @Tim what say you?
