I don't think the FBI was pulled away from any other investigations in order to complete this one. They have a lot of resources at their disposal.

It's not about "not believing in your kid," so you had to bribe a college to take them. rather, you didn't teach your kid about hard work, solid study habits., tutoring etc to get into a told college on their own and not needing a bribe to do it.

help them work harder and study better. what does bribing do for them but tell them to not work hard and pay your way through life. make a reservation at a top restaurant? nah, give the hostess $100 for a table in the back. get into a top college on your own? nah, give $500,000 and get you into a college when you couldn't do it on your own. what does that tell them ? lazy ass kids. and if you're the kid - would you really want that free pass your entire life knowing you didn't earn it ? like winning a championship in a fixed game or thrown match ? who wants to win that way? society is all messed up.
Now they've charged Lori Loughlin with money laundering. HUH ?? How does that work ? Anyone ?? The only thing that I can think of is that she donated that money to the guys "charity". Now, if she deducted that off her taxes,,,, she's screwed. All these conspirosy and bribery charges are nothing compared to the IRS looking down their sites at her.
