They lost because they failed to score more points than the other team. The doink wasn't the only deciding play of the game....it just happened to be the last one.

Guard John Miller‘s visit with the Bengals resulted in a deal.

PFT has learned, via league source, that Miller has agreed to a three-year contract with Cincinnati. It has a total value of $16.5 million.

Miller started all 47 games he played for the Bills over the last four years, including 15 starts during the 2018 season.

He is the first outside addition to the Bengals offensive line this offseason, although they did re-sign right tackle Bobby Hart. They have last year’s primary guards Clint Boling and Alex Redmond under contract for this season and Trey Hopkins, who saw time at guard and center, remains with the team as well. (PFT)

Maybe this is why Browns fans and Bears fans don't get along.. You beat the Rams to start a 4 game win streak and win your division to end the season and you STILL were so doomsday that you felt you weren't Super Bowl contenders because the team you just beat was in the playoffs...

If you are IN the playoffs, you are a contender...if you are not in the playoffs, you are not. So winning your division, makes you a contender.

I see where our difference lies, then.

A Superbowl contender is a team that can likely win a Superbowl. A playoff team is not, by default, a Superbowl contender.

While the 16th seed in the NCAA basketball tourney can win a title, they are not likely to do so, by any means. When you look at that bracket of 64 teams, you do not call the 16th seeds, "Championship Contenders".

I mean, maybe you do. But you shouldn't. Because it's not really true.

I was never doomsday on the Bears.

I have an ability to be objective about my team. You should try it some time.

The Bears had a really great defense this season. BUT.....they also had a defense that happened to have some of it's weakest moments in the 4th quarter of games...and on drives in the last 4 minutes of games. In the playoffs....that's very concerning. Combine that with an offense that is growing but still not a force and a overall a poor special teams unit in terms of coverage, punting, place kicking, and return game....it was hard for me to have 100% confidence in a playoff run.

That's call logic. It's called objectivity. And it's called realism.

The Bears beat the Rams at home in prime time. In winter. It was a really impressive game and one of my favorite wins from this past season.

Had they met in the playoffs it would have been in LA. That changes things, immensely. Could the Bears have won? No doubt. But unlike a Browns fan...I wouldn't have been already looking forward to the next game.

That isn't being doomsday at all.

You guys had a piss fit the day after the double doink loss, when opposing fans tried to offer condolence....You can't possibly conceive what Browns fans have been through the last 25 years.
