He can be dangerous kick-offs and punt returns

2 years at 10 million though.

    That’s a lot for a kick returner.

Matt Nagy better find ways to involve him on offense.

Just someone else to run unimpeded by Artie Burns for a TD....Cleveland is having a hell of a day

Cleveland is going for it...thats gotta be exciting for any Browns fan.

Splashes for prima Donna receivers rarely work in this league though.

With improvements on defense though it’s getting hard to see any major weaknesses on Cleveland’s roster.

Agreed, I won't pretend that I'm not worried....but very excited given another weapon for Baker Mayfield.

The upside is massive as is the domino effect he has on the rest of the offense with the attention a defense has to give Beckham.

Cowboys and Eagles each got 4 guaranteed wins. It's not Pats territory but damn.

    #17 overall, a 3rd and Jabrill Peppers. A steal.

The AFC is going to be crazy this season and years to come.

As for the NFC the question is if the teams that missed the playoffs last year bounce back.

Strongly thinking of just not giving a shit for a few years. The Dave Gettleman era has been like 16 months and has brought nothing but sadness for me. The plan is literally a flow chart:

Was he brought in by Jerry Reese? If yes cut or trade. If no he can stay.

He inherited a team in decent cap shape and that had some problems but talent. It was a 10 win team the season before. Drafts a freaking running back at #2 overall in the best QB class since 2004, trades away, cuts or lets walk every player of value, and now trades the franchises best player since Lawrence Taylor. This man has no credibility what so ever and insisted "we didn't sign him to trade him" every time a mic was put in front of him.

As for the Browns fans -- you will love this guy. We works his butt off and his teammates love him. He's young and brash and enjoys life but he isn't out acting like Gronk or getting himself into trouble. Mark my words -- Baker and Beckham will light this damn league on fire.

It stings xinik, my last 20 years of football is much like that feeling you have right now. I feel for you..I am hoping that these moves take this team into a new era of Cleveland Browns football..it's been so damn long, I am hesitant, but I can't hide my excitement either...My wife, the Bengals fan, thinks I'm crazy. Truly sorry for your recent team news, but moving on from Eli might be the best thing that happens to the Giants, and now they have a real reason to do just that.

First blush reaction is that this could be one of those deals in which BOTH teams win. Giants get cap relief plus a couple high draft picks plus a young player for the secondary. Browns get a proven playmaker for their young QB.

I just really confused what the Giants are playing at here. Reports are they have no intention of taking a QB at 6 or trading up for one. I keep hearing that Herbert is the apple of their eye and that the plan was to acquire extra picks in 2020 not 2019. My very real fear is they are now going to draft Daniel Freaking Jones with the pick that guy for Beckham. I will cry...

I don't think drafting Barkley has anything to do with the issue. He was a great add and the talent is worth it. But it's all the other moves and non-moves that killed the team and pointing at the Barkley pick is lazy IMO.

I know people have piled on the Browns for years so I don't mean to be a dick here but I honestly said to myself "Holy shit we did it, we took the title. The Giants are trying to be the factory of sadness..."

I just don't get it. Unless this move is followed by a cut of Eli Manning why? Gettleman has dismantled the roster piece by piece at this point.

That's what Sashi Brown did two years ago...although it was a shitty roster that he dismantled..

I truly wish you the best..I hope your wait isn't nearly as long as ours was.

I have made this very argument when people point to the success of his draft class. Gettleman made the "easy" decision with Barkley. He didn't make a tough choice he opted not to choose at all. Honestly when Will Hernandez was there at the top of the 2nd he made the same decision and took the easy pick.

I get saying "this player is a HoFer in waiting he can make Beckham and Eli Better and it's worth rolling the dice on Eli one more time." What I don't get is then trading Beckham and keeping the 38 year old QB after the season was an abject failure. Or letting your best defender walk and trading your only pass rusher. Honestly what burns my ass the most is Dorsey is the guy I REALLY wanted the Giants to hire now he is taking the Giants to the cleaners while Gettleman runs the ship into the ground. The Browns were smart to move quickly on him.

Your kindness is appreciated in this delicate time. I suppose this too shall pass right now it just feels like a kick in the nuts. Honestly though I will be cheering for Beckham in Cleveland and hope he and Baker win you guys some rings.
