why do you think Michael Jordan bought the team a fancy new bus to travel in ? he wasn't traveling in some crappy bus to games. the pay scale is rough and they're paying for food money and crappy hotels. they love the life and some rarely wanna give it up but it doesn't pay shit. my brother's roommate went from the minor leagues after several years to MLB. He said you go from shitty buses and roach motels to airplanes and fancy hotel rooms. huge difference.

 

It isn't just that the ml players are poorly paid - we've always known that, it's that MLB is actively working against them through political lobbying to keep it that way.

 

Thought that's why the players had unions, apparently they suck and have their noses in the wrong business.

not the same thing. he's in school. he would learn the difference of two words in school, wouldn't he? if he never had a s'more, he wouldn't know what it is. if he never played baseball, he wouldn't know how to throw. however he was in school. he should know the difference of 2 simple words.

 

2 year olds throw stuff all the time....they never played baseball.

I can understand not knowing who to throw to or how to properly throw the ball fall or fast.

But who the fuck doesn't know how to physically throw something?

Smalls....was possibly retarded. And I don't understand how he went on to become a play by play announcer.

 

well throwing a baseball and football is 2 different motions. i can throw a football really far. a baseball - not so much.

If you got bonked on the head and lost every memory you ever had...and someone handed you a baseball....you wouldn't know what a baseball is....but could you throw it? I think you could.

Smalls also had a nice looking swing going by the middle of the movie. So maybe his ability to learn quick maybe refutes the retardation theory.
