for as hard it is to make the show, they've had a lot of famous people and a lot of duds on that show! some unforgettable duds!

 

There's nothing else they really compete with, unless I'm missing something.

 

there isn't but for as hard as it is to get on the show, not everyone works out. i think a new show could compete with SNL if they got some solid young and hungry talent in there. SNL is the same thing over and over.

 

I thought SCTV was better than SNL when I was a kid. In Living Color was funny too.

 

in Living Colour had many funny skits. The one thing they didn't do were current events, like SNL did. they could've had a lot more material that way. instead they used their main characters in recurring skits. funny as hell. Homey the Clown and gay men on film were great. Mike Tyson was funny as hell as well. Jim Carrey had many funny characters and skits.

 

Sometimes it's better not to rely on current events, kind of lazy. These guys created the skits and characters.

many fans are jumping ship. the simpsons are pulling the episode where a mental patient thinks he's michael jackson. radio stations are pulling his music off their airwaves. jackson is done ! put a fork in him and his music. his name is mud !

just saw a story, a divorced woman doesn't want her ex husband back after he wins $230+ mil in the NJ lottery and he was unemployed. all she wants is the money she paid to take care of him while he was out of work and the spousal alimony. wow.

 

I got treated like dirt by my cousin at my Aunts funeral ten years ago because I dissed Michael Jackson. She was showing off that her son already knew the words to one of his songs. I just mentioned to her that a lot of people believe he was a pedophile.

love it. haha. you sound like me ! yeah too many rumors and stories for them not to be true. guy was a sick psycho that people ignored because of his music. i still think the real michael jackson died as look at that little kid from the Jackson 5. After his first solo album, his entire facial structure changed. then his skin color from some "illness" and the botched nose jobs. i can't believe it's the same person. whole family is shady.
