That 84 million dollar contract is gonna cause big time problems for the Vikings,it's SB or bust your job might be on the line here with Cap. Kirk
Add another safety to the pile of free agents. According to multiple reports, the Vikings will not pick up their contract option on Andrew Sendejo. That means Sendejo will become a free agent on Wednesday along with a slew of other safeties. Sendejo signed with the Vikings in November 2011 and made his first starts on defense during the 2013 season. He became a full-time starter a couple of years later, but injuries and a suspension kept him from ever playing all 16 games in a season. He was limited to five games last year because of a groin injury. George Iloka and Anthony Harris are also set for free agency, which leaves the Vikings with Harrison Smith and Jayron Kearse under contract at safety. Parting ways with Sendejo gives them $5.5 million in cap space to put toward any additions that might want to make to that duo. (PFT)
Let the bleeding began this going to be painful, time for Tricky Ricky to wheel and deal you really are in the spotlight now
Mike Remmers I didn't think he was all that and why didn't they play Brett Jones ? no great loss here time to draft an O-linemen
I hope the Vikings can find a way to keep Anthony Harris,he is young and his upside is tremendous IMO
Vikings tendered one-year contracts to safety Anthony Harris and tackle Rashod Hill, who are both restricted free agents. Harris will receive a second-round tender... A second-round tender means a player is set to receive a one-year contract worth the greater of $3.095 million or 110 percent of the player’s prior base salary. If another team made an offer to Harris, the Vikings have the option of matching. If another team convinced Harris to sign, the Vikings would pick up a second-round pick. So, basically if he wants to remain a Viking for 1 more year, he can and I hope he does, but in todays day and age, someone might offer him more and then its up to Minnesota to match it. Hope he stays in Minny for at least 1 more year myself.
Their going to rely heavily on the draft says Spielman. In my opinion, just about every FA is going to sign elsewhere. Spielman says he has a scenario planned out at every position on the team to make things work. Some contract restructures and such will create some cap space a bit, but I don't see any block-buster deals happening. Depth is going to be an issue and I still wonder about the O-line. The RB position could get hairy too with Cook being injury prone.
Boone will have to step-up to help Dalvin Cook, will this be a rebuilding year for the Vikings it's starting to look bad i also don't think the Vikings are making a big time move
WOW Anthony Barr turned down the Jets to remain with the Vikings,I want the Vikings to draft wr Paris Campbell out of Ohio State and trade Laquon Treadwell give Kirk Cousins that make big time plays, now the Vikings need to find a DT in the draft
