What was Mahomes depth of target? I would be surprised if he wasn’t number one

Must be his threat to run.

Yeah, I get the subtle knock on the stat, Beach...thanks. Just goes to show ya how misleading stats can be.

I just remember a lot ofQB's coming through our organization that couldn't push the ball more than 3 and a half yards down the field, I guess.

I was just messing with you and definitely not a knock on anyone. I'm a big fan of Josh Allen in case you forgot.

    I did forget that...

FTR; I'm still at the "very intrigued" stage with Josh Allen...He's a much better runner than I realized. I still have no idea if he's gonna be good or not.

His name will always be mud on this forum but the kid can freakin play. Can't wait to see him with a full year under his belt.

If AB would have gone to Buffalo it would have helped Josh tremendously and it would have helped the Steelers defense tremendously with the number nine pick. I see where we went wrong here, we should have been playing revolution #9 in the back ground. #9 #9 #9 you, you’ve become naked.

lol! Well I don't know about that. He has his detractors on the Browns boards, but it was never a unanimous thing. People should know me by now. I love the QB's that can add that extra dimension with extreme athleticism...

Are the Ravens still an elite defense with the mass exodus of defensive players?

Are they officially in rebuild mode? Start from scratch?

Honestly, with all the players leaving: Mosley, Suggs, Za'Darius Smith and Webb Weddle...they have some work to do. Or is it just wishful thinking? I know Suggs at this point is just a situational player and Smith is a younger version situational player, but Mosley and Webb Weddle were 3 down starters and crucial in my estimation. Are they easily replaceable? I am asking because I am ignorant to the Ravens backup situation and just don't know.

They also lost Weddle to the Chargers.

Sorry...typo, I meant Weddle, not Webb

My short answer is no. There is no way you dont take a step back loosing all those guys.

Weddle and Suggs are getting long in the tooth, but certainly were major contributors last year. I think that Mosley and Smith leaving hurts them more. I think that Smith was slated to step in for Suggs full time so that does create a hole at that position. IMHO they don't have anyone to step in at LB to replace the three players they lost.

I don't think they'll be elite next year, but I wont count them out either.

Certainly starting to look like CLE will have the edge to sweep the division next fall.

Eight game suspension for Hunt. He will not appeal it.

I think that's a 'win' for Hunt and the Browns. Could've been a lot worse. That it won't be appealed means that he'll serve the suspension, and be back without more undue fuss and media attention to the team - no dragging it out.

Another step forward for the Browns, this offseason. And because they know this now, well in advance of the draft and during the FA signing period, they can plan accordingly. Again, a 'win' in regard to timing.

I won't lie, I had hoped for worse. He's getting off easy with multiple issues involved.

For what it's worth, they can use Duke Johnson up to the trade deadline now...
