    RULES

Post an actor/actress that was in the same movie as the previous actor/actress.

List your 3 favorite movies they performed in.

    George Kennedy
    • Lonely are the Brave
    • Cool Hand Luke
    • Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
Even though George was always 'the man next to the man', he was one of the hardest working guys in the industry with over 100 film and TV credits. He constantly pops up in old movies that I grew up with and he makes a lasting impression in all of them.

    Clint Eastwood.

Was in The Eiger Sanction with George Kennedy.

    Favorite movies with Clint:

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
    Kelly's Heroes
    Where Eagles Dare

Keepin' it real - Clint ain't exactly a great actor. Lot of his roles - especially his westerns - he squints and hisses through his teeth...and spits tobacco. But there's definitely something about his anti-hero characters that's appealing. And as impactful and popular his roles have been, he's directed some sensational movies: Million Dollar Baby, Bridges of Madison County, Unforgiven. He also brings some outstanding music to his movies, especially jazz (see: Play Misty for Me, Bird).

    Hmm...

Bradley Cooper was with Clint in THE MULE. Clint is a legend. Has done his own musical score for his movies for over 25 years. He's 88 years old and still acts and directs. A legend. I could name 20 of his movies I love. #1 favorite Clint movie: GRAN TORINO !

Cooper is from right outside Philly and not far from where I live now. He is now 0-7 for all Oscar nominations and is multi-Oscar nominated beyond acting roles. Pretty incredible.

    Three favorite movies:

    American Sniper
    The Hangover
    The A-Team
I like A STAR IS BORN but it's so damn predictable. Silving Linings Playbook is good but sappy and the dance contest ruins it. American Hustle was very choppy and a ton of it that was shown as a trailer was cut out of it.

Does it have to be a movie?
    Does voice work count?

  7. Campbell Administrator Manager Commissioner

Is it voice work in a movie?

  8. Jeanquev Legend Steelers

Yes for voice work and the does it have to be a movie questio was for what if they stared in a tv show with the previous actor or actress.

    Good enough.

BTW - good thread. Not quite a six degrees of separation, but hopefully it leads to good connections to underappreciated actors and actresses.

Kurt Russel who was in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 where Cooper provided the voice of Rocket Racoon

When going Kurt I think you have to go
Escape From New York (Snake Pliskin is his favorite role)
    Big Trouble in Little China
    Tombstone

Maybe the secret to longevity as a Hollywood Couple is not to get married as he and Goldie Hawn have been together for 36 years.

LOVE Scott Glenn (appeared w/Kurt Russell in "Backdraft").

    Favorite Scott Glenn pics:
    Hunt for Red October
    Silence of the Lambs
    Training Day

Does his own research for roles (not relying on advisers or coaches)...was injured doing a ride-along with Chicago firemen in prepping for Backdraft...used to oppose the death penalty, then converted after hearing audio tape of two girls being tortured and murdered as research for Silence of the Lambs...left-handed, but did everything right-handed (even writing) portraying Alan Shepard in The Right Stuff...Marine Corps vet...did 2,000 consecutive push-ups on the set of Urban Cowboy.

    Kennedy, Eastwood, Russell and Glenn...

All 4 of these guys likely make my top 50 favorite actors of all-time. Eastwood and Russell are probably in the top 10, but I don't think I will ever go through the headache of making that list, lol.

    Never mind. @Tim pulled rank.

if you're into forensics and serial killers like i am, then you will like it. SOTL is my favorite movie, so that's why a show like MH appeals to me.
