I'm sure they'll have someone playing Bower in the movie They were a tandem here for a few years. It'll be fun trying to recognize parts of the city, maybe I'm in the movie walking around lol.

 

Today is the 25th anniversary of John Candys death.

 

very funny guy. sad his later roles till his death were not good ones. got paid $1 million dollars just for his cameo at the end of National Lampoon's Vacation. Gone way too soon.

 

His SCTV material was the best, I grew up watching that, his movies I could take or leave.

 

he was funny in Stripes. He played the lovable oaf with a heart of gold in Uncle Buck. Other roles I could take or leave.

 

Space Balls and Canadian Bacon.

If there's no sctv, there's no movies, Johnny LaRue and Pavarotti were his best parts on second city.

 

I forgot about Spaceballs, which is great. im a Star Wars guy, so it was a funny spoof.
