1 goal for Laine in 2019 and 1 in theast 23 games. Pheww, thank god the leafs won that lottery or else they could've ended up with him or worse Jessie.
Jets look like they're back in top form, up 6-3 on Vegas. Two goals for Laine as he breaks his 15 game drought, Ehlers also with a goal in his return.
Are you kidding, I can imagine the empty theatres in Iowa. It's only being released in two Canadian cities.
damn ! now i gotta wait months and maybe even next year till it's available to buy. i don't mind it's not in theaters, but at least let us buy the damn dvd.
Terry Sawchuk was a big boozer and constantly suffered from depression. He died in 1970 at 40 years of age while in a fight with a teamate that he shared a house with on Long Island.

Sawchuk was a Great Goalie...........but he had Demons and suffered. May He Rest in Peace......he was ONE of my Fav's in that era of Hockey.
Just reading here, the movie was filmed here in TO. It's first being released here and Vancouver, but they say it'll be released in other cities in the spring. I'm not sure that includes the US. I'm sure it would do good in the northeast hockey cities. I'm not sure how the theatres work down there concerning import films. Sawchuck was a Ukrainian-Canadian from Winnipeg. I went to a Ukrainian high school and my teachers were all Ukes. A lot of Ukrainian hockey players in the league through the years. They were the original Soviets, as it was part of the Soviet Union. Their people came here before it fell to communism. Johnny Bower was another one, as well as Johnny Bucyk.
