Willie Snead and Chris Moore along with the 2 draft picks from last season is pretty much all the Ravens have right now. Randall Cobb will be available but injuries have decimated him so I don't think he would be worth a flyer.

Golden Tate is the best of the bunch, but he will command a big pay day so I don't see the Ravens going after him.

FA candidates would be as follows

    1. Kelvin Benjamin - Has fallen off the deep end the last couple of seasons but I chalk that up to being in Buffalo. He is a big body WR that can go up and get that contested catch that would benefit Lamar a bunch.

    2. Donte Moncrief - Small but can still fly, would be best suited as a #2 outside guy

    3. Jamison Crowder - The Redskins best WR, would still be at best a #2 anywhere else.

    RFA candidates

    1. Geronimo Allison - A talented WR but will be hard pressed for the Packers not to match any contract given to him considering their lack of WR depth at this time. Would love to have him though, he just makes plays.

    2. Robby Anderson - Another talented Deep threat, with potential to be a true #1 WR. It would take a big contract to force the Jets not to match but he would be worth it. Love this guy.

I know Tyrell Williams also. I certainly wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Benjamin and Moncrief. I'm sure their prices will be higher than I'd anticipate, but it could be worth it. Goes back to our talks about how the Ravens desperately need to draft and develop their own top tier WR talent.

For now, I wouldn't be surprised to see Chris Moore finally get a real shot. I still haven't given up completely on Scott or Lasley either. Some people consider not being a superstar as a rookie to mean the player is a bust, but that's not always the case.

I'd expect any combination of the above along with a rookie draft pick to make up the WR corp. If Jackson goes into the season still struggling to throw outside, no point investing heavily out there this year.

I'm sure Moore will get to be higher on the pecking order, but I don't expect much from him. I really expect nothing from Scott and Lasley. It's not about them not being superstars (or even seeing game action). It's more about the fact that we've seen and heard the "potential" story year in and year out. At some point, I'm just sitting and saying "prove it to me and then I'll get hyped".

It's a catch-22 on Jackson here. Let's say he does struggle throwing to the outside. Wouldn't he possibly be better at it if he had someone legit to throw to out there who would go make plays for him?

Well I had some of this right - 1 shot wonder.

Didn't necessarily expect him to be released due to a crime.

People make some stupid decisions in their life, and unfortunately for him, he made one of his while driving..... Good luck to him in the future and I hope he gets his life straightened out.

So my most hopeful WR in the draft has been Hakeem Butler. He just ran a 4.47 40 which is great but sucks. With his size and hands, he may have leaped his way up the draft boards.

I'm hoping the WR needy teams before us keep Harry, Metcalf, and Brown above him. Maybe reach on J.J. also

My guess is that this money will go right towards the pot of signing Mosley. Still, if I was cutting a safety (all things being equal), I'd cut my ties with Jefferson over Weddle. Weddle definitely has had his issues on the field, but he is the epitome of a leader. Imagine a scenario with no Weddle, Suggs, or Mosley. We could see that happen, but I don't want to envision it.

The Salary cap may end up dictating just exactly that, DeCosta is trying to get the team out of Cap Hell it seems. The funny thing is, the Ravens have failed at developing a solid safety for years now....

Honestly, I would have cut Weddle over Jefferson also. Jefferson can at least tackle. Getting the defense in formation matters, until they attack you every play because you can't tackle or cover.

I'd be shocked if neither Suggs nor Mosley are here in September.

Sounds like Antonio Brown is going to the Bills. I wonder what the trade compensation will be.

Haha yeah the story got so much more interesting after the first "breaking". I wonder if Brown literally is managing to sabotage the trade to not play in Buffalo? Not sure what his specific end game is, but it's gripping to see all sides trying to save face.

AB is the new TO, if a team takes his arrogant tail, it will be a desperate move. The team that I imagine would be ignorant enough to take on his attitude is the Team in the NFC North with one of the most arrogant QB's in the game. The Green Bay Packers, who are desperate for WR outside of Davante Adams.
